I checked the rest of the Census forum and there didn't seem to be any Language poll...

So here it is!

Personally, I just speak English, but me and a friend are learning Japanese together at the moment (Slowly!).

Sorry if your language didn't make it on the list, but I did most of the top 20...

EDIT: For Spelling.

English, with some French, a little German and a tiny amount of Welsh (almost all nouns)

I've probably forgotten most of the French and German though, and I don't think I learnt anything useful.

I won't say because there's a question about it in this quiz 63194d19-1.gif

I'll just say I speak 3 languages, I also studied the fourth but after 6 years no using it I've forgotten it completely.

I'm also aiming to learning Old English.

Most useless language ever.

English, Swedish (some) and I at least used to know most of the alphabet in sign language.

I also speak Finnish (native) and some Estonian.

Maybe including English isn't such a good idea since you ask the question in English.

I speak Finnish and English, some words here or there of numerous languages, but I don't count that as "speaking".

English, Swedish and French.

A little Latin, Italian and German, but not enough for me to say that I speak it.

I understand Danish almost perfectly, and I also understand Norwegian, but those languages are so similar to Swedish that I can get along with Swedish or a mix, if I meet a Dane or Norwegian.

There are many languages that I'd like to learn.

Fish: I wrote an essay on Old English grammar (but I can't say I speak it either; I figured out a little.)

Weird language! O.o

I realise this now...

However, oddly enough we seem to have 20 votes and 19 english speakers at the moment

English, Russian, I can read Ukrainian though probably couldn't hold a fluent conversation, and attempting to pick up French. Considering I said the last part in English, it's not going all that well. ;) I do have hopes for many more, but at this rate...
