emmaseek
Oh, I just use http://www.suprnova.org to search for torrents. I've never had a problem finding screeners for movies that are still in theaters, or entire anime series, or even things I didn't expect to find, like the motion picture soundtrack to The Power Of One :). I wonder if it depends on what sites you're using to search.... *ponders*
Sian
hehe okay next time I'l fail to find something I want in emule I'll give it a try :) I use p2p mainly for movies download. The problem is rather different :P I don't know what do I want anymore :P Seems like I've watched everything could ever seem interesting to me :P I have about 400 of only favourite movies of mine on my pc at the moment. So the main thing I need is the ideas on what to watch next :P
anima
Soulseek. My favourite thing about it is this: Soulseek does not endorse nor condone the sharing of copyrighted materials. You should only share and download files which you are legally allowed to or have otherwise received permission to share. Soulseek. was created to encourage the sharing of public domain music from unsigned, independent artists willing to share their work and communicate with a large audience in an efficient way. Methinks that could have a part in why they're still up. And dude, I have found quite a lot of music I like (JRock and other genres, but mostly the former) there. And it has no spyware, no ads, etc. etc. I basically only download music that has to be imported to the US from places like Japan which makes the cost of one album $40 and up. And I'm too poor to buy 12 albums at $40 a piece. (I need that money to pay for drum corps!)
Automaton
Kazaa Lite K++ is good for finding smaller, older files.. eMule is good for finding generally large files. I once downloaded a Visual Studio.NET DVD for example.. BitTorrent took all the bandwidth from my internet connection and the rest of my home network. It took an age to find anything and went at speeds up to 7kbps.

Tom Nook
Since we're talking about p2p, does anyone know of any ways to bypass university firewalls? I used to use a tunneling program (HTTP-Tunnel), but then they went and made the servers available only to suscribers, so I lost that. I even tried using cracks and keygens to get it kickstarted again, but nothing works. :?
