Its an interesting theory and yea the media does reinforce social narratives regardless of their political origin because to go against any heavily invested narrative is most likely not going to be received well. For example, there are studies coming out that says cell phone usage (while driving a car) is more dangerous then drunk driving but regardless if I were to obtain irrefutable proof that this were true, people would still say that drunk driving is more dangerous.

Yeah, I'm not buying what he's selling. But his incoherent rant caused me to wikipedia the term "political correctness", and that was truly informative, so there's that.
