Nico-Nico Friendo Posted December 3, 2009 Share Posted December 3, 2009 I've always thought Nikola Tesla was a pretty fascinating person, but it's sometimes hard to separate fact from fiction regarding him. He certainly deserves more credit than he gets for his ideas and inventions, and the thing about his rival Thomas Edison pisses me off. Edison seemed like he was a real jerk! I found a short biography video on You Tube about Tesla's life and inventions that is supposed to be pretty accurate (I'm not sure about that). Here it is . . . I also wondered is he might have been asexual, since he didn't seem to like women (physically) and he didn't like people touching him. Did any of you know about Tesla before you saw this video? This one seems questionable because of the type of show it's on, but the first part seems about as accurate as the other video I posted (above). Well, I've been watching the rest of this program and looked up some of the so-called "scientists" names (the ones talking in the program about Tesla and his inventions) and they appear to be a bunch of kooky pseudoscientists -- such as Brooks A. thylacine Posted December 3, 2009 Share Posted December 3, 2009 A while back Fortean Times had an article on Nicola Tesla, and it stated he was in fact asexual. Tesla made that statement himself. According to FT, he was eccentric, but not crazy... he did seem to lose it as he got elderly, though... I believe people exaggerate about Tesla being insane, and this is the way society treats anyone who is different or intelligent. Link to post Share on other sites

Tesla was so fucking brilliant that one time he nearly split the earth in two just by thinking about it. This happened. Hitler wanted Tesla to work for him, but Tesla killed all the stormtroopers sent to capture him with his newest invention, magic. The only reason he didn't teleport straight to Hitler and kill him with his 10d4+20 cone of cold spell was because Hitler was in Germany and FUCK if Tesla was going to set foot in that shithole. Fact: Tesla is still alive. He achieved immortality by punching God right in the fucking mouth and demanding it. When God got pissed, Tesla stared at him so hard that God cried.
