Since it is First Contact Day, and I am doing a Trek film marathon for it as I do every year, I figured I'd make a poll about people's favourite Star Trek film.

I made two polls, one asking if you have a specific favourite, and one for those who can't decide (multiple choice) :)

Also, I didn't add a "Not a Trekkie / don't watch them" option, because I just didn't want to :)  Feel free to ignore this poll if you don't watch Star Trek :)

Live Long and Prosper! 🖖

For me it is always a toss up between Wrath of Khan and The Undiscovered Country :)

The one with the whales! The Voyage Home, but I've never heard anyone call it anything other than "The one with the whales!"

I honestly hated JJ Abrams interpretations for Star Trek Into Darkness, it was literally Star Trek wrath of khan but the deaths were reversed and somehow that was 'creative storytelling'

@Frendo I am not a fan of any of the Abrams Star Trek. I own every film, and have seen them all, but the Abrams ones I have watched once each, whereas all of the others I have seen multiple times.

I am supremely grateful that Star Trek is still alive and kicking, and I am glad that there are plenty who can enjoy all the different parts of the universe.

I think i’ve only seen 2 of them so it wouldn’t be fair to vote.

I was going to say if there was a boxset of all the movies then maybe i’d check them out…

and there is.8)

It's funny how that's what everyone remembers.

I have the boxset of the 10 prime timeline ones (up to Nemesis), and the three Abrams films I have individually.

I am heavily biased in my love for Star Trek, without it neither Space Era nor I would be here.

I think I've only seen the first 3 or 4, and that was so long ago I don't remember much about them other than there were whales, San Francisco, a funny scene about 20th century computers, something to do with Spock and the needs of the many, and Khaaaaan!, and the various memes (most of which I probably couldn't tell you which movie they came from). :)

Should ask O'Brien to take a look. Or maybe Scotty, if he's available.
