@harmonic turquoise Bougainvillea!

I haven't seen those since I was a little kid in my home town! Wow, those bring back such a warm, cozy feeling :):)

Thank you for that picture 🤗

The garden still has flowers for any late pollinators.  Erigeron.

I would like to join in but the chipmunks got all the bulbs last fall and winter and we had no flowers this year.

It's fascinating to think that this plant has been cherished in my homeland for centuries, yet it's considered invasive and troublesome in other parts of the world. Nature's intricacies never cease to amaze.

Cool pics! :D

Yeah, species that fit in well with the ecosystems they evolved in are fine and even beautiful. Humans spreading them to other areas can cause problems, especially when the new species out-compete native ones and disrupt the balance of the ecosystem, and in some cases, can cause native species to go extinct.

I went to the Chrysanthemum festival in my neighborhood. The festival is held every year in November. There are many different types of chrysanthemums on display, including large and colorful blooms, as well as smaller, more delicate flowers. It's free and anyone can come in and watch. It was so beautiful that I took too many pictures.
