How do asexuals feel about nudity?

Nudity is awesome.

I just wish I had more self confidence while in the nude. /sigh

It's kind of fascinating in a way. It's a completely different feeling than when you're clothed. I can only speak from the perspective of being naked by myself (with others? Hey now, let's not get ahead of ourselves), but it's something that I was interested in. The sensations are different, and I'm fascinated by that. It definitely took working up to little by little, but the first time I swam naked in a isolated river swimming hole was amazing. The water was so cold, even in summer. And, getting out, and sitting on the rocks in the sun and breeze? Just amazing. So different. It took me literally years to get to that point, but it was worth it. Now it's no big deal, and incredibly refreshing on a hot day :)

My own nudity is a big NO. Even bigger than sex, and I´m sex-repulsed. But the part od my sex-repulsion is connected with the fact that I would have to be naked during sex. I find nudity degrading.

As for other people, there are two situations where I wouldn´t mind their nudity: beach for both naturists and non-naturists (so I could wear bikini) and cuddling with my ASEXUAL partner (who doesn´t really exist). Any other situation is inacceptable for me.

Am mostly desensitized to nudity, assuming that's literally all that it is. I still don't necessarily want to see people nekkid but I'm not going to scream and go into a fetal position if I pass by a bathroom without the door closed and someone just got out of the shower or whatever.

If the nudity has blatantly sexual undertones though, it's still uncomfortable to me.

If someone is on my bed naked, the first thing I would do is scream no matter who.

If it a figure drawing class, I'd be uncomfortable, but I'd adapt.

I don't mind nudity as long as it stays within the limits of "good taste" to me. This ofc means anything non sexual related. ;) If I'd draw a naked model, or be in shower with someone, go to a public sauna or something - no problem. Though I see nothing but flesh. I try not to look at others too much because I'm nervous if they notice and think that I'm thinking something sexual about them.

But watching other people have sex or groping each other for example, now THAT would be awkward. Clothes on or not. And especially without them.

I'm comfortable with my body. I dnt really mind walking about my home, in the nude. I dont know how I'd feel exposing my body to others, I dont think I'd mind, really. And I've been in situations of viewing nudity, so others' nudity wouldn't bother me much either. I mean as long as these people are not trying to get close to me or feel like touching.....

I'm far too comfortable in my pajamas to ever walk around naked! Haha. But seriously, no, even if I was totally alone and every window was completely covered, I wouldn't walk around naked. I prefer an oversized shirt, no bra, and pajama pants...that's pure relaxation to me lol. I'm not a fan of parts of my body, but I don't hate it. I'd just rather be clothed for physical comfort!

As for other people...I'd be a little startled if people started going around naked lol, but if the nudity isn't sexual/pornographic in nature, then it wouldn't be torture. It just might be awkward haha. I grew up with two older brothers and a dad. I've seen my share of men's body parts (I also enjoy crude humor like in Jackass lol). And I've got a female body, so I know what that looks like. They're bodies. As long as said bodies aren't doing sexual things...then it would just be a moment of awkwardness. I may say "ew!!" though lol.

I'm forever walking around my apartment without pants on. (But I live by myself) going without pants is as far as it goes, because I live pretty close to my apartment's office building and i'm always terrified that they can see into my windows.

But other than that, I really don't want to see anyone naked. Ever. Totally cool missing out on that.

At the moment, I'm stuck back with parents so always wear clothes. However when I had flat to myself at uni, I tended not to (wear clothes) when inside just because it was easier and clothes didn't seem necessary.

Regarding nudity with others, never been in the situation so I'm not sure (I can be sensually attracted though, so not sure if I'd be comfortable or not).

Personally, I'm a little uncomfortable about walking around ass-naked in my room, even when alone. But nudity in general I'm okay with, mainly because I've taken plenty of figure drawing classes with nude models...I see the nude human body as another work of art most of the time, although I do feel embarrassed for the person if it's not done for artistic reasons. :T

I don't like walking around naked because I'm paranoid that someone will see. I don't mind seeing myself naked in a mirror.

I'm okay with seeing a naked female in a picture or something but if say a relative walked up to me naked I would be uncomfortable and I'd run away.

Guys... I like seeing them shirtless (if they have good bodies haha) and boxers are okay but I don't want to see them in only briefs or naked. Male genitalia freaks me out. At least female genitalia doesn't hang out for everyone to see.

My ace girl walks around naked (or near naked) all the time, as she prefers it - as do I.

She's seen me naked, though I usually wear underwear, at least, as I know she prefers not to see the peen - unless we're showering or bathing together (which we do a lot, as we enjoy the non sexual intimacy of it).

For me, nudity is complicated, as well. I tend to follow the social 'guidelines', with keeping myself nude behind closed doors, and usually without anybody looking. At home, I just don't care if I get dressed, at all, but I will get dressed if people come over. It would feel too weird, to be naked around other people.

Me being naked is about comfort. For a long time, I didn't even want to see myself naked. I would avoid the mirror when taking a shower, etc. But that was about my own self-image. Now that I'm more comfortable with my body, I like to lay around naked sometimes just because it's more comfortable than wearing clothes.

Seeing others naked is a big old "meh" for me. I actually think people are a whole lot more attractive with clothes on than off. Bodies are lumpy and weird and I just really like how a good outfit can shape a person so nicely.

Other naked people fascinate me though? That's probably weird, but I look at it from a scientific standpoint. Like, It's interesting to me how bodies are different. So, all in all, nudity doesn't bother me, but I don't seek it out, either.

I don't like my body. I've always been uncomfortable with my body and so it took me a while just to get used to looking at myself in the mirror. Now I don't mind walking around in my underwear or if anyone sees me that way. I still don't like when I know people are checking me out, but that's besides the point.

I've gotten over a certain amount of other people's nudity, as it no longer bothers me if people are in their underwear around me. Girls, boys, doesn't matter. Old people and children alike. Ew, naked old people came to mind. Naked babies make me a little uncomfortable too. Just genitals though, boobs (be them males' or females') are just odd looking to me.

I'm fine with being naked when at home alone & most nights in the summer I sleep naked.

I could not do it in public (say a nude beach or something) .. would be way too uncomfortable. (the other people being naked may or may not make me uncomfortable, haven't thought about it - but probably would be ok with it as long as they ignored my (fully-clothed) self and were not really ugly/or overweight/or anything like that)

Not sure how I'd feel being alone naked with one other person (if for example I was in a relationship) its never happened. If it was a close enough relationship I might be fine with them seeing me naked.

I am completely fine with my body (well, I could lose some weight, but I'm working on it), but never go around naked in my house (or anywhere else). I tend to sweat a lot (I mean REALLY a lot) and I wouldn't like to leave my sweat everywhere I sit.

As for other people - Men are rather indifferent to me. I enjoy watching naked girls (except for genitals, they are ugly ), but find them more appealing if they are wearing some clothes.

As soon as I walk into the house everything comes off except a pair of shorts. It just feels nasty sitting around on the furniture with a naked butt. In public I don't see myself being naked. Ive been in areas where nudity or partial nudity was occurring. Im not bothered by it at all. Seeing a nude body does nothing for me sexually. I do love art, and sculpture, so if I see a certain body type I admire it from an artistic perspective.
