Chantilly
I thought about this thread as I was looking through a book called "Chicken Soup For The Romantic's Soul" a couple of days ago. The writer of one of the chapters claimed to skip over the sex scenes in romance novels to get to the "good part." I laughed because that did indeed sound like something some of us would do. Yep. I do that. But not romance novels. Any novel I read. I think, "why do they put it in there. It doesn't have anything to do with the plot." I know what you mean. I have never been a fan of romance novels because I do think of them as pornography by text. I don't read much fiction at all, but I did take a bit of a liking to the Chicken Soup For the Soul series.
