PiF
I decided to take a year out so popped over to the states in february..had to pop back home in may (no I wasn't deported) then back to the states in June till december During that time I've flown( on a plane), ridden and driven and I've been nagged for some pics by some odduns who never leave thier p.c.'s anyway The road trip started from south dakota, through wyoming, then into colorado then into new mexico using some parts of the old route 66 before stopping for a few days in arizona then return on the same trip On the way down I stopped off on the south rim ( you just know some sick puppies are gonna get giggles on that) of the grand canyon..very little impress's me but the grand canyon... stunning... and right at the bottom is a working theme/riding ranch called phantom ranch http://i354.photobucket.com/albums/r408/my...le/100_0747.jpg http://i354.photobucket.com/albums/r408/my...le/100_0743.jpg http://i354.photobucket.com/albums/r408/my...le/100_0748.jpg then on the way back I looked at some big rocks..called the rockies apparently...I had to tell one very annoying American tourist I had bigger rocks in my garden..he shut up http://i354.photobucket.com/albums/r408/my...le/100_0766.jpg http://i354.photobucket.com/albums/r408/my...le/100_0760.jpg http://i354.photobucket.com/albums/r408/my...le/100_0764.jpg Anyway the last week or so I been doing some of the midwest so went to deadwood, spearfish canyon, cheyenne crossing, bear bute etc anyway a really good place to pootle around http://i354.photobucket.com/albums/r408/my...le/100_0782.jpg http://i354.photobucket.com/albums/r408/my...le/100_0808.jpg http://i354.photobucket.com/albums/r408/my...le/100_0779.jpg http://i354.photobucket.com/albums/r408/my...le/100_0793.jpg http://i354.photobucket.com/albums/r408/my...le/100_0786.jpg
Ziffler
I usually don't go anywhere on vacations. Like now I am on vacation and am home alone and enjoying every minute of my quiet time. The only real vacation I have taken was back in 1995 when I went to Isreal for 11 days with my Bible College class. I enjoyed that trip totally. But I went alone and even though we were grouped together I still did most everything by myself within the group.
