Midwoka Posted April 10, 2008 Share Posted April 10, 2008 An "aspie" is someone who has Aspergers, which is a high-functioning form of Autism. Those with Aspergers tend to be awkward in social situations (often being unusually direct, and unaware of nonverbal social cues), but tend to have an easier time with logical associations (like math or physics). Also, many aspies don't see it as a disorder, but just a difference in their brain's structure. There's alot more to it, of course, but that's the gist of it. We have alot of aspies here on AVEN.
