Frigid Pink
"As simple of a concept as it may seem, some asexual individuals experience speculation and often disbelief from people who believe that it is impossible for any person to have no sex drive." Asexuality isn't about whether or not someone has a "sex drive" (or libido), however, there are some asexual people who don't have a "sex drive" (aka "non-libidoists"). I think a major issue with asexuality visibility and education is lack of a consistent definition and use of terms across the community. Until the asexual community resolves this issue, there probably will continue to be speculation and disbelief about asexuality.
