I've heard of Night Vale, but just wouldn't have time to listen

I can't ever listen to a podcast mainly because i have an extremely short attention span when it comes to audio stuff, which is why i haven't gotten into this. I tried. I couldn't. I missed half the podcast because i accidentally spaced out. But it does look interesting. I wish it was a show.

Love it! Also love their latest podcast, Alice Isn't Dead (which is thankfully on Youtube~).

I haven't listened to Alice Isn't Dead yet, I'm going to give it a try.

I'd definitely recommend trying Alice isn't Dead if you liked WtNV. I think WtNV is better, but they're both very good, and I'm starting to get really excited to find out what happens next in the Alice isn't Dead story.

ALL HAIL...the mighty glow cloud!

I almost saw one of their live shows but...an incident happened.

I own their book but I haven't read it yet (one book amongst many...) and I'm massively, massively, massively, MASSIVELY behind. I'm talking like probably 60 episodes behind. I have to sit and pay attention otherwise I space out, like another poster said. Then I have to start back at the beginning...haha.

I love the podcast so much that I bought the book, haven't started reading it, since I don't have much time to read anymore and I've missed the last 10 episodes since I can't find time to listen to it much anymore without having to pause in the middle of an episode and coming back to it later at another time.

The book is great, I highly recommend reading it when you get the chance.

I love Night Vale, but am really behind. I have been to two live shows and they are amazing. (The Librarians and the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater.) I really need to catch up one of these days...... (lol, I'm already thinking about what to do as it plays in the background.)

I bought one of those coloring books that are all the rage now. It gives me something to do with my hands but leaves my mind free to focus of Cecil's amazing voice.

The Netflix account in my house has a user named "the faceless old woman who secretly lives in your home."

I have no idea who that is. I'm blaming Steve Carlsberg. Ugh, Steve Carlsberg.

Two weeks is too long to wait for a new episode.

What the flipping (bleep) is this show?

EDIT: An auditory podcast? First time I even bothered to look something like that. I'm a hard of hearing person.

Yes, it's audio only. It's free on itunes and some other places that I can't remember right now.

All that really needs to be said on this matter is that I've come to realize that I've ridden the Metra more often in my Carlos the Scientist cosplay than dressed as an actual normal person. (Additionally, the most recent episode of Alice Isn't Dead is the reason I didn't get to sleep until about 6am the night I listened to it.)

I've listened to a few episodes, getting into it a bit more now. Gonna be traveling a lot this summer on the train so I'll probably get through it fairly quickly :p

(also note: my sexuality is a reference to it)

Listening to it on trains is a great way to pass the time, unless you accidentally miss your stop, guilty. My problem with listening to WTNV in public is that I end up laughing and making faces in accordance with the dialogue so people look at me like I'm a lunatic.

I don't usually have time to stay caught up during the academic year, so what I do is let the new episodes pile up over the course of a quarter, and then when I have to go home between quarters, I binge on everything I've missed because I have a 10-hour train ride to sit through. At this point, there are about 5 or 6 podcasts I do this with, so between all of them I usually have enough to get me through the whole thing. And the train runs at night, so everybody's too asleep to judge my facial expressions

(...of course, the downside of this is that I inevitably wind up listening to something like Alice Isn't Dead or Limetown or The Black Tapes in the middle of nowhere, Ohio at like 3am and have to keep myself from screaming in the middle of a train car full of sleeping passengers, but hey, you win some, you lose some. Although I should probably look into finding podcasts that aren't nightmare fuel at some point...)

I can probably get through two episodes and that should just about take me to my stop, probably a few minutes to spare, so pretty good timing :)

Yeah I've listened to a couple episodes this week on my walk to college (which is kind of annoying time wise, not enough for two episodes but still have 15 mins extra walking after one episode.. bleh) and I always manage to make eye contact with someone as I'm laughing :p
