I would also feel a lot more secure about finding a partner for the future. I'm a very romantic person and it hurts knowing that it's very likely I will spend the rest of my life alone. I've focused on self-development ever since graduating college with the idea that I need to increase my value in order to progress to a level where I would be comfortable attempting to date/enter relationships. I damn well know that I'm looking for excuses with which to focus my attention on because the idea of attempting to date is too damn scary. Especially when I completely lack the initial attraction that would typically drive a guy to approach a woman in the first place. I'm never going to be fully happy living the way I am now.
