Zuul Posted September 1, 2014 Share Posted September 1, 2014 Hello to you all, I'm quite new to this, although it feels as if I've been all along, even without my knowledge. I'm coming to terms with being asexual, and not being upset about it. It's strange to me, but I am very happy to see that it isn't an uncommon aspect of life, that others share this. I'm very nervous about sharing this aspect of myself with my friends and family, but it feels as if I can learn from this community. I am twenty five years old, male, and my girlfriend was the one who drew me into joining this forum. I guess I've always had an inclination that I am an asexual, from childhood, though I never had the patience or understanding. I am hoping to learn, and I am happy to be a part of something. I hope you enjoy being a member here...there are a lot of other people who are wondering if or when they will tell friends and family. It is definitely a very personal decision. I suppose for most it would come down to feeling comfortable talking about it and, as you mentioned, being able to count on their support.
