Masturbating A's: what do you think about when masturbating?

Recommended Posts

Ficulnean

Fictional characters. Not them having sex, just them getting to know each other in power inequality situations.

I often wouldn't think of anything at all--I'd just pay attention to the physical sensations occurring in the reality of that moment.

I never needed visual stimuli to become aroused.

If I did fantasize it would always include generic human beings, never myself.

When I was really young it was not a sexual thing in my mind, but it involved someone getting spanked, usually cartoon characters. When I got older and I began to see it as sexual, the spanking component diminished.

Nothing usually, I can't get off otherwise. Thinking about stuff distracts me and can get me out of the mood. It's nice to just a completely blank mindset for a couple of minutes.

I always think of me being spanked by a male authority figure.

I used to think of sexual scenarios, never involving me or anyone I knew. It was about the situation, feelings and sensations, not the people. Never the people.

Nowadays, though, I find that imagining pleasure is enough to start feeling it. It's become more mechanical, less fantasy.

sometimes (rarely) it's just because of a biological arousal....the hormones make you feel things and you don't have to do much to get yourself aroused.

sometimes I think about sexual situations....but sadly that doesn't really do a whole lot to arouse me. However I do have mental orgasm by thinking about said sexual situations, so imagining that stuff does give me feels. I just focus on the physical feelings and relax most of the time..but sometimes I think about myself (I think I'm autosexual).

I always have to think of something, and it always involves myself and one or more people, and sometimes the other characters aren't people but are monsters I've created. In the scenarios with people, I seldom ever imagine having sex with anyone (though I do so a lot more often when I think of my current bf), and I practically never imagine having sex with imaginary men (only rarely men I've had a crush on). Now the ones with the monsters, those are rape-type fantasies, where I am attacked by said monster(s). In some of the fantasies with people (both male and female, but I never imagine having sex with the females, as I am repulsed by that) I imagine BDSM type scenes where I am on the receiving and submissive end of things, but there is almost never any actual sex. Pretty much all of my thoughts involve a heavily fetishistic component (in addition to the BDSM stuff) but I'm afraid I can't share that one, as I'm sure I can count on one hand the number of people I've ever shared that one with (including my bf, whom I strongly suspected was into the same thing and therefore I figured he would not judge me, which he didn't).

At the risk of sounding like a 12-year-old girl, I almost invariably think of fictional characters. My thoughts have never involved people I know, and they have never involved myself.

Exactly the same here.

Most times about imaginary people having sex (mostly two men, but sometimes I like to think about women as well). I don't play a part in these fantasies. The fantasies are also a bit abstract, more focusing on some movements, certain kisses, hugs, and not the whole picture and not in very great detail. Somehow I'm also surprised and taken aback when I see a sex scene on television, because of how close these people actually are when they're having sex or simply sleeping next to each other, and what that means. Like there is more distance involved in my mind. I'm not sure how this is even possible, but yeah, this is what I'm experiencing.

And sometimes I simply think about nothing.

For me the visualization has to be in or under water in some way. Could be anyone, as long as water's involved. Not really a danger/breath-holding/asphyxia kind of thing, just the unfamiliar environment, the weightlessness, the feeling of being all-enclosed.

Can't imagine a tougher way to do it IRL - have to interrupt every few minutes, gets really uncomfortable unless using lots and lots of oil-based lube, no leverage...

The people that make my kind of pr0n deserve their pay as real ath-a-letes.

I've tried fantasizing before, but I had to set up an entire scenario for it to even make sense for the fantasy to even happen. I basically spent fifteen minutes setting up the situation in my mind before I had a plausible situation for anything sexual to happen, and by then, I wasn't really horny anymore. I can't just fantasize, there needs to be backstory with a reason as to why the situation would be happening in the first place.

Usually my mind just wanders, and I have thoughts like, "Ugh, this is taking forever," and "My hand is starting to hurt," and "Oh crap, the shower's getting cold."

I can never concentrate on a fantasy long enough, because I'm just not invested in it. I think one time I started solving a calculus problem in my head while I was masturbating because I got bored. It seriously feels like a chore to masturbate.

Fictional characters mostly... often two OCs in really weird scenarios. Sometimes I will head Hentai (comic porn)....as long as I don't laugh at the plot. but I can never put myself in it...

Sexual situations involving the characters in the novel(s) I'm writing. I'm never involved in these scenarios myself and I don't have an author-insert character, so it's just a case of me picking a set of characters and getting a general idea of the scenario and then 'watching' where they take things. Which characters I pick depends on what mood I'm in, since I have characters with a range of sexualities and interests ('vanilla' heterosexual, BDSM heterosexual, lesbian ephebophile, male homosexual, pansexual, asexual, etc).

It's actually a rather useful characterization exercise and I've ended up learning a lot about my characters by putting them in intimate situations and seeing how they react. Hell, I often get so involved in the 'story' that actually masturbating becomes a distant secondary priority behind 'writing' what my characters do next.

I tend to think about pleasure or orgasm. Thinking of other people coming to orgasm helps me to.

Mine is not sexual usually, and if it is, it has nothing to do with me and someone I like. Most of the time I actually think of nothing. xD

I think about how long it's taking :) I only do it to relieve pressure and stress every now and then, so just want it over with quick sharp.

Absolutely nothing. I play a song in my head until I'm done. I believe the orgasm is overrated but the way I see it is someone somewhere is going to lack the "I'm impressed" feeling, why not have it be me?

Sometimes I fantasize about myself having sex with other people (usaually with a person I have had sex with in reality, because I can't picture the scenarios of having sex with a person I have never had sex with). But I guess the way I fantasize is somewhat different from sexuals. I focus on the physical pleasure that I (or other people in my fantasy) could feel during the act, it can help me to actually feel the physical pleasure while stimulating myself. And who the people in my fantasy is or the attractiveness the people in my fantasy has are not important, since I don't get horny because of people being attractive (of course I still wouldn't fantasize people who are aesthetically unappealing, because that picture would be gross).

And sometimes I fantasize about other people having sex, but I'm not involved in it. Also focus on the physical pleasure that those people in my fantasy could feel during the act, and who the people in my fantasy are is not important.

Also sometimes I don't think about anything, just focusing on the physical sensation I'm having. Or sometimes thinking about something that are totally unrelated to sex.

While I can masturbate successfully without thinking of anything beyond the pleasure... I do often find myself masturbating to erotica (and am apparently not alone in this). And, like many, it's not that I'm involving myself in any of the scenarios (especially since I typically read M/M slash... and I am female)... however I do seem to use the pleasure/emotions described of the characters to help my own? Not sure if that makes sense...

Uh being the major weaboo that I am I usually tend to think about my waifus (yeah anime characters, I can't get off to real people for some reason. it feels weird to me). I make up scenarios, or just look at pics on imageboards. That's about it. I'm a pretty boring asexual.

Welcome to AVEN! :cake:

I also get off quite often to anime (/ Vocaloid) characters as being more beautiful than real people... but I wouldn't call them waifus because, at least according to the Urban Dictionary definitions, a weeaboo usually has only one waifu who is too 'celestial / pure' to be a sexual fantasy object. So they're all dirtier than a waifu to me; your mileage may vary, though :D

Don't worry, Chaika Trabant is not of my type of anime women :D

Well, if I'm thinking about that, it's because I'm running a level one diagnostic on why it's not working! Got to get out of myself, away from myself... somehow.

I usually read erotic fiction when masturbating since any thought of a partner turns me off immediately. Though when I get bored of reading while doing stuff, I focus on sensations and pretty much clear my mind from thinking too hard.

Mostly fictional characters or people I've devised with specific looks/personalities. I make up my own story almost, build up and everything, it's mostly just sensual touching, kissing etc, sometimes sexual behaviour. I don't focus on the feeling alone because I don't actually feel much until, like, the very end.

For me it's fictional characters (a ship of mine) or its nothing, just me focusing on the feeling.
