Right, I promised updates! :o

I have some. I'm going tomorrow. The interview is starting at 6PM, and I'll be back home on the same day (though pretty late, at around 11PM). It will air on Sunday during the same TV programme that featured me last week, Lucignolo, at 9:30PM or thereabouts :) It's with Enrico Ruggeri this time!

You don't really need one, you probably won't be able to see it "live" but this will be likely uploaded on the TV channel's site again^^

Reporting for duty! I got back from Milan yesterday evening. The Mediaset folks were unprofessional as fuck this time around - they made me get to the airport 10 minutes before the flight, well after the time limit to get on the plane, and I couldn't phone anyone because ALL THREE of the phone numbers I had didn't respond, or were turned off completely, while knowing that there was a serious issue of me missing the flight. The car driver who took me to the airport gently helped me and provided the "afterhours" phone number of the TV company. I got in touch with someone there and they said there were no more flights and train tickets available for me to get back should I miss that one. Like, wow. Fucking really?

I was lucky that the flight was slightly late and I had to run to the plane while having skipped dinner (I haven't eaten anything in over 24 hours x_x) and the flight assistants were merciful enough to take me in even though I was consistently late. I managed to get back home, but I avoided a night sleeping under the bridges in Milan just barely!

Apart from that, the interview was good. There was another person I was being interviewed with, a polyamorous girl, and we were both asked questions about our "specialities". My interview was okay, but hers... goodness, Ruggeri kept referring to "the average Italian male" in a rather derogatory fashion. I had to keep myself from hijacking that part of the interview with my modly instincts, since I was there all the time thinking he'd have deserved a warn fair and square if he had posted on AVEN :P

Anyhow, I'm on TV again this Sunday, same show (Lucignolo), same time (9:30 PM). :)

Ugh! That is a stressful situation to be in. Is that the Mediaset way of saying "thanks for the interview; business concluded"? Some organisations ... all courtesy is thrown away as soon as they get what they want.

Once again, it's good to hear that your interview went well. It's a shame that the other person's interview was marred with derogation, however.

The part about you being in another interview is completely overflowing with awesome!

The unprofessionalism and subsequent stress from the late plane - definitely not so awesome. I'm glad you made it back though! Being stranded with no other flights or trains would have been awful. Would you have had any resources available to yourself had something like that happened? Or would sleeping under a bridge have *really* been what it would have come down to?

Me being the pennyless student I am, I wouldn't have had any means of not sleeping under a bridge short of begging someone to host me for one night. Which I wouldn't have done. So yeah, I dodged a big bullet there! I'm still happy I made it back home safe and sound :P

my impression has been that Silver "played" it better than the poli girl, and that italian attitude towards women show up in full :(

I guess being poliamorous is about feeling love for more than one person, they show it as a mainly sexual thing........

but maybe is just me being ipercritical of italian culture

Anyway you did a great job!!! :D

I don't think such a thing can exist nor that it would ever be a bad thing ;)
