brontide
Bit of a shameless plug, but for anyone in the UK, I did an interview with Fabulous magazine (http://www.fabulousmag.co.uk), which comes with The Sun newspaper, about asexuality. It's been published today as part of a bigger piece about women and sexuality. The article is on the magazine's website as well but I think you have to be a subscriber to read it. Unfortunately I'm stuck in bed ill at the moment so can't go out and get a copy :( but just thought I would let people know.
Kelly
Most awesome. I hope that we can get a sharable copy of the interview. :) :vis: to you for giving Asexuality visibility!
brontide
I'm sure at least one of my relatives will be picking up a copy so I'll ask them to either bring it or e-mail the text of the article to me. Or maybe another AVENite will get a copy! It's not very long as it's part of a bigger piece, but it's quite a widely-read magazine so hopefully it will reach quite a big audience. DexM
It was the first Sunday morning in I don't know how long that my dad came back without a copy of The Sun :( I should be able to pick it up from a family member or friend, and I look forward to reading the article. Thanks for helping putting the word of Asexuality out there :)
Janus the Fox
Ive actually read it, great mini-article indeed. I didn't like the statistics used, while they got the 1% of asexuals correct, 1 in 100 are gay and 1 in 200 are bisexual in the UK are most certainly incorrect. That would make being gay or Bi rarer than asexuality.
