Hope this hasn't already been posted. I've been following Sexplanations on youtube for awhile now and have been really pleased with the way Dr. Lindsey approaches the multitude of topics surrounding sex and sexuality. She's finally done a whole video on asexuality and I thought I'd share it here for others to see and discuss.

I particularly liked her experience with the clergy panel and how she talked about the connections between sexual orientations, such that understanding all types of attraction helps to better understand human sexuality and where it is derived from.

I liked that. :)

She reminds me of a celebrity though.

Don't remember the name of them though.

What the hell is sexual sonar...

Some people are able to accurately guess your sexuality just by being around you. They've done a number of studies on this and it is apparently an actual thing.

Dr. Doe has created and posted this video describing her own experiences interacting with asexuality and the asexual community. I thought it was a very interesting way to depart from what has sort of become the standard "this is how we talk about asexuality in the media" model. Check it out!

Excellent video! It's definitely a refreshing video on the topic since most media is trapped in the "101" of the topic and don't seem to expand on it. Thanks for the link!

A thread titled "Video on Asexuality on Sexplanations" from Asexual Musings and Rantings has been moved and merged with this one.

I liked the video but I would have liked it better if she said more of "lacking sexual attraction" as well as "lacking sexual desire/libido".
