Opel the Old Posted June 30, 2005 Share Posted June 30, 2005 Cantonese is hard to learn as foreign language a lot of slangs, and one must practice very very hard to learn all these also, chinese (mandarin) has 4 or 5 tones, and cantonese has 9 tones, so that would make it hard (physiologocally, if you cannot pronounce some sounds after 5, then you cannot pronounce ever again in life) Link to post Share on other sites
