Hi,

Sorry for the silly questions ladies i'm 21 years old. Males (Me) get erections as our sexual arousal i'm curious to know how ladies get sexually aroused? I'm a virgin and know NOTHING so i'm curious. I feel like I have let myself down as I don't know females well enough :(. I don't really know enough about ladies like I'v learned about STI's but nothing about protection from pregnancy etc. It is silly for me to ask this but i'm confused stuck etc. I really want to know the theories about ladies and their sexual body parts like sexual arousal.

What are turn on for ladies to be aroused (like guys just look at ladies and go yeah) but how does it work with ladies?

Ok here we go....

As for what turns women on... That's a very diverse topic. I assume your talking about sexual women, not asexuals? There's really no definitive answer, just as for men. Some women are turned on by visual stimuli, like porn, or people in real life they find attractive. Others are turned on by physical stimulation, like kissing and touching. Some are turned on only after a period f romantic courtship. Or by scenarios they fantasize about in their imagination. It could be a combination of these things, or something else completely different. Or in the case of most asexual women; they don't get turned on at all.

As for what the physical responses can be; nipples hardening, vagina getting wet, cliteros getting erect... I would suggest you spend some time googling this or find a good book about it. No one person will be able to explain every scenario. Every women is different.

I guess I haven't been very helpful, but it's an incredibly broad topic. I could write about it for hours and still not explain it right.

Well, as an aromantic asexual woman, this can be difficult to answer. But the question amuses me, because I didn't know the answers until I started reading fanfic and accidentally discovered erotica. I was 28 at the time and clueless. SO CLUELESS. But the descriptions in their stories I read were quite educational (though shocking and off-putting at the time).

As the above commenter said, every woman is different. I'm nearly impossible to arouse. I could respond to physical stimulation, but it's easy for me to get bored or distracted or caught up thinking academically about the process. I have no ability to sexually fantasize.

Why do you need to know? If you are trying to educate yourself, read. The internet is full of information. You'll get conflicting accounts, but there are a few running themes. It's all just head knowledge if you have no intention of putting it to practice.

If you're asking because you are interested in sex with a particular girl, then that girl is the only one who can answer your questions. Be honest. Be open. Be earnest. You're still young enough for a partner to think your virginity is sweet.

Google is your friend. Also M Rated Fanfiction is a pretty good way to educate yourself about female sex drives and the way women feel during sex, although if you want to know more about the scientific physicality then you can read the oh-so-poetic entry on the physiology of female sexual arousal from Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_arousal#Female_physiological_response

It takes a lot longer for masturbating women to get aroused than men, and (according to teh Interwebz) they are less aroused by visual stimuli and generally prefer emotional stimuli like words (while reading fanfiction just imagine you're a woman getting off), fantasy and closeness with their partner (not sure if that's true. I know women who get aroused by all kinds of stuff). Also while men can masturbate in 5 minutes, for women there is a lot of build-up, and it takes a lot longer to reach orgasm. Of course every woman (just like every man) is different in this department, so there's no rule for everyone.

Also if you're going to have sex and you don't want the woman to get pregnant, use a condom.

I get aroused by visual stimuli and by written erotica. My own thoughts and fantasies do the trick fairly often as well.

May be TMI:

When I get aroused, I often feel an adrenaline like pang (especially if the proper stimuli comes out of nowhere), then I start to feel very hot. The getting wet and needing to put on different panties part comes last. Also, when I'm really aroused, my heart sometimes races really fast, and I truly feel hypersexual.
