The Gender-Neutral Awesomeness of American Apparel

Does anyone here shop at American Apparel? I just want to say how much I appreciate their gender neutrality in their clothing, and how they offer sizes XXS through XXXL in most items. It's just rare to come by and makes shopping for trans* people way more comfortable/easy.

As in...

T-shirts- http://store.americanapparel.net/product/?productId=2001w

Hoodies- http://store.americanapparel.net/product/?productId=f497w

Thermals- http://store.americanapparel.net/product/?productId=t407w

V-Necks- http://store.americanapparel.net/product/?productId=2456w

Underwear (UNISEX UNDERWEAR!)- http://store.americanapparel.net/product/?productId=4415w

I just love how they give you the option to view the item in both a man and a woman. Too bad it's kinda expensive, but I try to find it on eBay for cheaper (which I do!), but I don't mind dishing out the extra cash because it's made in the USA :)

Also does anyone else know of any unisex-friendly stores like this?

I tend to get the stuff for half price on eBay, and it's brand new! If I want it even cheaper then I get it used.

Got 3 thermals at once all for $14. They were listed as used, but are nearly like new.

I've only bought 3 things (minus the underwear) from the actual store. I have 6 of their hoodies, 4 thermals, various t-shirts from other websites, a pair of gloves, and 6 pairs of underwear and I couldn't recommend them more. Then again I've only bought one hoodie, one t-shirt, the gloves, and the underwear from their store. The rest I got on eBay marked down super low. I found the hoodies for $25-$30 and the thermals for around $15 on eBay. Brand new :D

That's wonderful. I hate how things are labeled 'mens' or 'womens' why not 'humans'?

Well to be fair, the majority of "men" and "women" are shaped differently. So you can't always just group it into one big section.

Yeah, that tends to be a problem. Even for more curvy-female bodied individuals who are genderqueer/trans* the unisex clothing tends to eliminate the more accentuated features, like the small hips and a bigger waist. Kinda just makes it more, flat I guess? At least that's what I've noticed with their clothes. I try to find other stores that carry men's sizes in a wider array, as men's clothes tend to fit more unisex anyways.

Aeropostale, American Eagle, H&M, and I think Gap sell men's XS clothes.

Sadly, there's no American Apparel anywhere near me.

Although I assure you I will probably always prefer bebe:
