Safire
I recently got an xbox 360 (my first real gaming console :D ) and so far, the only game I have is skyrim. Any suggestions on what to buy next? :)

Any suggestions on what to buy next? :) If you don't mind endless violence, killing grotesque aliens and a complex, interesting sci-fi plot, you should check out the Dead Space series. I'm still currently half-way through first game but I'm excited to finish it and work on tackling 2 and the recent released third game.
Storm Dancing
I recently got an xbox 360 (my first real gaming console :D ) and so far, the only game I have is skyrim. Any suggestions on what to buy next? :) If you like the type of gameplay that Skyrim offers, Oblivion is a must-have. Also, you would probably enjoy Fallout. Fallout: New Vegas isn't bad either but Fallout is a more comprehensive game, I think. If you're not a huge fan of space/sci-fi( I know I'm not, really) the only one I'd recommend is the Mass Effect Trilogy because it has a similar type of character-building, like the RPGs. I'm sure other people can steer you towards space/scifi games, if that's what you like to play. Also, Red Dead Redemption isn't bad, a game set in the Old West. Rage is amazing but.....way too short. It's alot like the gameplay of Skyrim and Oblivion. The Fable games are fun for RPGs but not as in-depth as Oblivion. If you're ever curious about what games are rated by different players, go to www.gamefly.com and read their game reviews. That usually helps me choose the best. Enjoy your 360.:)

Janus the Fox
An odd little title called Thomas Was Alone, basically the character is a shaped pixel, a puzzle platform game, its fully narrated to give a story that needs a sense imagination needed to enjoy games, similar to games during the 70's and 80's. It has Danny Wallace as the voice, for which won a gaming BAFTA for when it first released.

It has Danny Wallace as the voice, for which won a gaming BAFTA for when it first released. Ooo I was thinking of picking up that game! It looks like an example of a game shaped by its development limitations in a good way. I believe the web show Extra Credits also recently listed it in a "games you might not have tried" video and mentioned it as a "mechanics as metaphor" game. I'm also hoping to try a game or two for the two weeks I'm home before I leave for my study abroad. I believe my dad bought BioShock Infinite, so I'm deliberately avoiding spoilers this time (seriously, I google searched "Would you kindly" before I finished the original game, and man, did that lead to some heavy spoilers!). I also have been curious about The Unfinished Swan and Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, not to mention the games I already own but haven't gotten around to playing, and the games I want to replay (such as Journey and maybe Shadow of the Colossus). oog
they've recently rereleased dragon's dogma with the dark arisen add on. all for £19.99 here in england. if you like skyrim. i guess it would be similar. and then so different too. it's capcom, so it's monster hunter type gameplay. quite tough. but easier than dark souls. rinsadreamer
At the moment I have a few games that are midway and just waiting for me to finish finals week... Anyway I'm currently playing TWEWY (The World Ends With You), Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. I've been watching my best friend play Final Fantasy: Crisis Core. I've also been playing Final Fantasy: Theatrhythm, and replaying Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. I have a bad habit of starting several games at the same time and then getting behind on all of them... But yeah... I mainly play RPG games for handheld consoles (mainly because of an unfortunate TV placement at home and lack of a TV at school).
Faust Darkwell
My attention is split between Sims 3 and Deadly Premonition (PS3). I'm liking the latter so far because it kinda has that Twin Peaks vibe.
TheNaughtyNeutrois
I'm currently going to tuck into Child of Eden and Rise of Nightmares (bothXbox Kinect) as they have both arrived today! I enjoy the Kinect and I could use the activity to help me lose weight :)

I've been dying to break out Deadly Premonition again now that there's all the buzz about the Director's Cut. Such a good game... So I'm doing a Let's Play of Kameo: Elements of Power. Næt.
I might start Victoria 2 up again. The problem with Paradox's other Grand Strategy games - Crusader Kings, Europa Universalis and Hearts of Iron - is that you have to expand to get better. You can't just build up and up and up. Which you can in Victoria. Industrial superpower here I come.
Nevyn
I picked up Injustice: Gods Among Us because I wanted to beat people up as Superman. I really, really suck at fighting games on the 360 though, so the Joker keeps kicking my butt in story mode. :(

I really, really suck at fighting games on the 360 though, so the Joker keeps kicking my butt in story mode. :( I feel your pain. You think Joker's hard? Wait until you get to the final two fights. (Not mentioning specifics on who, because of spoilers.) I practically died in frustration.

icannotswimorcycle
Deadly Premonition, Under Defeat HD, FarCry 3 Blood Dragon & 3D Dot Game Heroes...
