I think they're going by biological sex, not gender identity.

In any case though, all their posts have been here in Census form. Hmm...

Simply being near someone who smokes is enough to make me start coughing my lungs out.

And yeah, I don't thing the demographic here is gender based. It's binary sex based, which still leaves out hermaphrodites, but it's as general as it can be while still serving its purpose.

Me too, Mr Stranger. I loathe cigarette smoke, it leaves me short of breath for ages (I'm mildly asthmatic). That's apart from the eye irritation, the lingering stench ...

I used nicotine patches for 2 quitting attempts. From a 3rd I know: Getting up and trying out willpower does the job too.

I'm smoking on for a while

I quit smoking 3 years ago using an electronic cigarette. I still use it to this day because I enjoy it. I rarely have asthma now. When before when I was smoking 2 packs per day I would have severe asthma and have to use a rescue inhaler daily and a preventer inhaler (the powder kind) to help prevent the asthma. Now I'm good with just my rescue inhaler on rare occasions.

I used to smoke, for around 16 years. I didn't use anything when I quit, but I used patches when traveling...not sure how to count that.

This poll is being locked and moved to the read only Census archive for it's respective year. As part of ongoing Census organization, and in an attempt to keep the demographics of the polls current with the active user base at the time, the polls will last for one year from now on.
