chrism1620
Hi, I am a 56 year old male , and been married for 32 years , we have 2 grown up boys . I have recently realised thanks to a radio broadcast about asexuality, that I am indeed asexual. This answers a lot of questions that I have been looking for over the years . I have told my wife , she is not totally surprised ,but a little lost as to what the future holds . She is a sexual person . Is there anyone who can reassure her ?
zoidberger
I think the best thing you could do is to look around in this forum (specifically the "For Sexual Partners, Friends and Allies section) and show it to your wife as well. You'll find there are quite a few people who post about the interactions between sexuals and asexuals. Opening up a dialog with regards to sex in your relationship could be quite helpful. Relaying what you're comfortable with and what her needs and wants are can allow for whatever possibilities or compromise the situation might hold. Good luck and ask away if you have any specific questions.
