I hope one day you feel like coming back. You'll always be welcome! Borrible Cal.
O'Really
Privacy: - If you have posted anything on any public forum, it is probably listed on Google, with your nickname included - Was the nickname you used unique on the internet? Because if true, then it will be very easy to track everything you've written on Google - If you are or were part of some email list, and you've used your real name (as the name property of your email), and you have used your nick as the email (ex: davey23230@aol.com), it will be possible to know the real name behind your nick - Even if all that you've written on this forum is destroyed, you will have to make one removal request per message listed on google. They will only remove it from their list if the page doesn't exist anymore. You may think "even if the link is there, there's no problem, because the content doesn't exist" - Google has a cache feature, so that people can browse a copy of the page, even if it doesn't exist anymore. It is not to worry if: - You don't have nosy colleagues or relatives who know your nickname or - It is impossible to map your real name to your nick on Google or - It is impossible to map your nick to your name on Google If you don't have to worry, cool. Change your nickname to one that is widely used, or to the name of someone or something very famous, so that it will be harder to track you. Change your email if necessary. Letting everyone know everything about us is not cool. Especially when it's something too intimate or something that doesn't represent us anymore.
