Here we deal with issues concerning our gender identity, and in some cases, biological sex (IE those transitioning). If you are 'new to all this', and don't understand a word I just said, a collection of some useful terminology is behind this link. There is a high proportion of transgender people on AVEN. We don't really know why, but my theory is that, when questioning your sexual identity, gender may come up, and vice versa. That way many asexual people join and discover they are trans, and many trans people join as they have realised they may be asexual.
