Bad Patient
Transyadas? We're the /b/ of AVEN. (4chan reference. /b/ is the 'unmodded' board, which routinely raids other boards and websites, and derails them completely.) I prefer to think of us as the /r9k/ of AVEN. I used to go there for a while. There were some nice people there. One of them offered me gay porn as a token of friendship. Good times.

Obviously not as that sentence was wrong. I think you'll fine it was correct. Transyadas? We're the /b/ of AVEN. P is for...
oh good Me. you're on page 2 already. i'm so proud of you all i could just spit... wait a minute. does this mean our actual thread is going untended? back to base, people! (and Adriatic & Ollz--you both need to post more in the P/Serafine thread. it's been languishing lately and needs new blood.)
asexual cake
I admire the transyada dedication. This thread has been alive for an hour and a half and already we're half-way down page two.

Oh, can you request raids there? I have some unfinished business. /r9k/ is not your personal army. Basically, it takes the same premise as /b/ (that is, no premise) and adds a bot that doesn't let you post any text or image that has appeared on the board before. It was Randall Munroe's idea of curing /b/'s repetitiveness and posting old memes instead of actual content.
anamia
We now have three threads all in different forums. Which reminds me, I don't go to the "P and Serafine" thread nearly enough. I'm conscious that I don't think I've ever said congrats to P and Serafine, since it had all happened just before I got here, and that thread's now moved way beyond ontopicness. So, congrats, you guys Oh, good point. I haven't said it either, and I check that thread often. Congratulations to P and Serafine and may you post many pictures. I offer you cake. In honor of the Who fandom on here, it shall be this one: (yes, it's eatable. See for yourself.)

This is exactly why my page counts on Distributed Proofreaders have been way way way way way down for the last month. (and Adriatic & Ollz--you both need to post more in the P/Serafine thread. it's been languishing lately and needs new blood.) This can be done.

Oh, I would be honored. But I don't know if that would be out of line. Who's in charge of the Wiki? Do we even have a Wiki master? Ohmygod, could I be Wiki Master?
outofeden
A transyada is like rain on your wedding day. A transyada is like a butterfly you see for a split-second out of the corner of your eye. A transyada is like a song from your childhood that you've completely forgotten until you suddenly remember it again twenty years later. A transyada is like a cup of the world's best peach juice. A transyada is like the sound of church bells in the distance. Also what the others said. Whoa... explosion of transyada brilliance. I would actually love it if I got married and it rained. I don't like good weather. And I would just like to say that I support the addition of 'transyada' to the AVENwiki.
krossero
Outofeden, that graphic is simply jaw-dropping. In the very best of ways, of course.

daveb
I am cis-gendered, but transvestite (even when it comes to wearing feminine clothing I've never felt like I was female and never referred to myself as such nor even tried to "pass" - with my height and broad shoulders I wouldn't stand much chance anyway. Besides, I tend to prefer to "mix and match". But then I can't really even pull off androgyny.), so I'm not sure where that would put me... I'm just myself, mostly male, sometimes slightly feminine, but not female. :) (There do seem to be a lot of cool in the transyada posts - although I've only managed to keep up with one, the P and S thread from heck.) prettyeyes
I wonder if a transyada raid somewhere would be more or less disturbing for the residents than a /b/ raid.

Post relating the story of creation of the Transyadas term. Said post in said Johnny Weir thread as mentioned. Post containing very fantastic visual celebration of the term "transyada" and in support of its addition to the AVENwiki. Thank you. anamia
Transyadas are people united by love of Finland, wingtips, and tea (barring a few heathens individuals), who enjoy taking things over such as threads, websites, countries, and the world, who adore non-sequitors, who for the most part like David Bowie, whose mascot spreads a rainbow from his fingers and makes fruit and flowers appear with a gesture of his pipe, and who happen to have issues with the gender binary (most of the time). We are also incapable to sticking to a single topic for long, talk too much, have a religion, and may possibly be a philosophy.

We are also incapable to sticking to a single topic for long, talk too much, have a religion, and may possibly be a philosophy. We're like a cult, but we don't try to stop independent thought. We encourage it, and then we try to resolve disagreements by dueling. Pretend dueling, but I say it counts. Also - also - I thought of the central theme of the Book of Yada today in calculus class. I was quite excited.
