I came out recently to some friends whilst playing I Have Never. When it came to my turn (I was already a little inebriated, to say the least), I thought I'd be a little 'riskier' than usual. I said *clears throat*: "I have never... felt the desire to touch myself".

My friends laughed, instantly drank - and then looked at me in stunned silence when I DIDN'T take a swig of my drink.

One of them knew [vaguely] about my asexuality anyway, but the other just looked at me, as though he'd seen a ghost. (I guess I'm a ghost, then).

Only AVEN, personally I don't think I need to come out, it's none of anyone's business whether I have a sex life or not. It comes up sometime I might say something but I'm not going to volunteer information either.
