Aww next time include a mixed option, okay? I always feel rejected and alienish when I have to click other :( Also should I start assuming everyone I come across is a white female? That's a scary percentage...where are all the people of African decent and my mixed peeps??

I'm mixed race a mixture of at least 2 races (up to maybe 5 depending on how picky you want to be).

That was my 'other' option for race.

Other: I'm of equally African and Caucasian descent. Interestingly, most mixed American couples are white female/black male, not black female/ white male like my parents. ^_^

I get most frustrated by the race thing, actually, since some surveys try to lump all people of Middle Eastern descent as "white". It's ridiculous.

Interestingly, most mixed American couples are white female/black male, not black female/ white male like my parents. ^_^

That's true. It's becoming more common, though; I know a few couples like that.

Am a bit surprised/taken aback by the very large number/proportion of females over males. I didn't suspect males would make up less than a fifth of the total.

This poll is being locked and moved to the read only Census archive for it's respective year.
