Hot_Air_Balloons
Hi everyone? Who here doesn't have sex dreams? I've seen many posts about this. I've never had a sex dream at all, unless people are starting to make out or talk about doing it and I get all freaked out and run away. I am a totally repulsed asexual. But I guess that wouldn't really count. Anyway I feel like the only one here who doesn't have sex dreams. I never think about that stuff at all on my own. I think about it a lot in daily life because it's shoved in my face. Much like this - SEX IMAGE gross! 3 seconds later - SEX IMAGE gross! 1 second later SEX IMAGE gross! I think I need to turn off the TV once in a while. lol Anyway I think a lot of us can relate to that. Anyway does anyone else NOT have sex dreams?
GoAskDaddy
Hi Ya Interesting question but no I don't have sex dreams either, I don't think I ever have. If I ever did I'd think ohhhh yuk and wake myself up probably lol
Hot_Air_Balloons
Thanks for replying! Yeah i know! Sex is just so gross to me, I don't know why I'd ever dream about it unless it was some kind of nightmare. It just seems that others have some kind of instinct still to dream about this. Floor
I sort of have them. I'm not involved, and it usually stops before anything really starts to happen, or things are so vague/at impossible speeds or angles/whatever that I only know what's happening through implication. There is no sound either. I once had a dream from the point of view of a woman's breasts. That was bizarre.
-V-
I think I've had 4 or 5 sex dreams my entire life. Doe that seem low to anyone for a sexual?
narwhal
I actually don't get them very often. If i do, it's usually not me, I'm watching some other people do it/someone else experiencing it. Or if I am having sex in the dream I'm incredibly bored.

Gho St Ory Qwan
ME NEITHER! =D I thought I was the only one too. Although I had a nightmare I walked in on my best mates ahving sex but I didn't really see anything. That's the closest I've had to a sex dream, but I think it's safe to say I haven't had one! =]
Hot_Air_Balloons
Yeah I've never had a dream where I was doing anything! It seems most everyone has, not that I am jealous or anything. lol I think I must be very hyposexual for even an asexual or something. I'm not a nonlibidoist, but I've even seen some of them mention they've had these dreams! Well I know that I have no instincts for sex at all, even if I do experience random arousals. They are just annoying to me and make no sense. Maybe I am just hyposexual. Oh well, I'm not going to worry about it.
AorNay
I have a few times in my life, but very very rarely. And I don't think it's ever been actual sex, more fetish type stuff. Though I feel the better question would be "does anyone here have sex nightmares"... lol

Sex is not everywhere all the time. I rarely see sex on TV, even post-watershed. Nor do I come across it on the internet either, unless I am deliberately seeking it out. Amcan
I have them about once a month (being female it's usually just before that time of the month) and really, really wish I didn't. They disturb the heck out of me.
Herr Joseph von Löthing
Nope, nothing. Most of my friends have, and I know dreams reflect what happens when awake. I guess if you don't think about sex much, it doesn't happen in dreams much. Of course, if you're constantly avoiding sex while awake, it will translate into your dreams. you*hear*but*do*you*listen
I do not have sex dreams. Well, none that aren't nightmares.
Hot_Air_Balloons
Good I feel better now. lol Thanks for your responses. "does anyone here have sex nightmares"... LOL I think maybe I should have asked that! To IAmAFishFlopFlopFlop who asked: Do you have your TV permantly tuned to a porn channel or something? No but it seems as I am flipping channels as i scroll through all 60-70 or them, 1/3 of them have a love scene on or making out, and then another 1/3 have some kind of sexual commercial on. The other 1/3 might be ok. lol I might be exaggerating here but I actually thought of flipping through and counting how many channels had some kind of sexual imagery on it leaving each channel on for 30 seconds. I think it would be interesting to see. I heard recently that there are 38,000 sexual images on TV per day! Or something crazy like that. One of the shows I watch everyday is Days of Our Lives. Yes, I watch a soap opera, mostly for the drama/conflict, although who broke up with who gets interesting sometimes too. I don't watch the love scenes though. But they don't have too much of it on in recent years. The commercials are worse than the show!! I hate commercials anyway but a commercial break will come on and they will have all these sexual imagery filled ads for toothpaste, lotions, etc. Then you get victorias secret underwear ads, ky jelly ads, pregnency test ads, pregnnency help ads, etc.. Then you see people that are half dressed trying to sell stuff. Then you get that horrible commercial of the baby peeing all over in someones room! YUCK!! THAT commercial alone will give me nightmares. (I have plenty of toilet/bathroom nightmares) Maybe it has to do with the fact that I'm watching a soap opera. Also how many reality and regular shows deal with who's sleeping with who! Who cares! I wish TV were more like I LOVE LUCY days.
summer.moon
I have them every now and again. I really, really wish I didn't because most of the time they freak me out. So, I suppose put me in the "sex nightmare" category. Mostly because all of the remotely sexual dreams I have are related to my past, which is a nightmare in and of itself. member30256
I have never had a sex dream. I've had kiss dreams, but I usually wake up just as it's about to happen. Any dreams about people I like in real life usually are just us standing in a field or on the beach, holding hands.
dasein
I generally don't remember my dreams. But I do remember maybe 4 occasions in my life that I have had a sex dream, most of the time they were quite abstract. I've never ever had a wet dream.
Teagan KGB
No sex dreams. But whenever I dream that I eat sweets, I wake up mid-(physical)-orgasm. I don't even like sweets much.
JayJayJay
I have had exactly one sex dream, but there wasn't even sex in it. (Just masturbation and voyeurism; I was sort of inhabiting someone else's body)
Sciatrix
I've had one sex dream, which was more about reproduction than sex, I think. I don't remember most of my dreams, mind, so it's possible there could be others. There's an interesting philosophical question--if an event happens but is remembered by no one, does it still exist?
Plaid
I've never had one. In fact... I don't think I've ever gone any further than hugging anyone in my dreams. XD That being said I very rarely remember my dreams. The really weird ones tend to stick, but thats it. Like the one about Dad attacking the rainbow-unicorn-that-was-actually-a-friend-of-mine with a chainsaw.
ThePieMaker
I've never had a sex dream. I wouldn't consider myself a repulsed asexual either. It just doesn't happen. Heck, I very very very very rarely kiss in my dreams. I can count on one hand how many times (I recall at least) I've had kissing in a dream, even then it's except maybe one time been just a little peck. And I usually remember my dreams quite well. Moon Thief
I've actually have never had a sex dream. None of my dreams have had any type of romance or closeness either.
Hot_Air_Balloons
Yeah I never dream about romance at all. Probably because I am aromantic. Never kissed anyone in a dream either, at least not a family member on the cheek kind of thing. Alot of my dreams are more about danger, like the overpasses breaking over water as the car rides over it, or I had one really realistic one that the plane was going to crash. A lot of them also just make no sense at all in the real world. I seem to just be in different places all the time, or different people appear. Dreams are just weird sometimes. lol
Data
I never had sex dream, but I hardly ever dream. If I have a dream it is either not really interesting when I do what I normally do during a day, or about something that was interesting to me, something related to computer games, or some abstract concepts. Norah
I've had romance dreams, not often, but not very few either. My dreams tend to be more very weird, or adventure-ish. Some are very obviously stress-dreams, those follow a very set and predictable pattern. Have had maybe 3 sex dreams in total in my entire life. And from comparison to others, I have come to understand that the few sex dreams I have had were atypical.
FallenAngel
A sex dream as in a dream in which I had intercourse, no. A sex dream as in a dream in which I participated in sexual relations or saw others participate in sexual relations, yeah.
Flour Confessor
I have a nearly photographic memory for dreams, and as far as I know, I've never had any type of sex dream. I'm not repulsed, weirded out, or otherwise adverse to any of it--but it never factors into my dreams for whatever reason.
