Well, once I decided to watch a school play, (some of you may have heard this already) right before I had to do one.  On Saturdays, they had a matinee one and then a night one.  Since we're known for theatre, community members come to watch too.  I was working a night play then, for a different show.  (Someone gave up their ticket to the ticket counter so I was lucky enough to get a free ticket too!)  Then before entering the theatre, there was a warning sign saying that there was nudity.  I didn't heed the warning and saw a completely naked guy.  I told my mom and my cousin and they really focused on the fact that I saw my first "live dick".

That reminds me of a theater play of Goethe's 'Faust' which I saw with my mum at 15/16. Let's just say Mephisto's first appearance was... fully naked, the god figure (female actress which I thought was cool) was fully naked except a mask and there was a scene of I think Mephisto sort of raping Gretchen (but like not really.. it was weird).

Fun times:ph34r: I wasn't repulsed but just really weirded out because 'why???? That's not in the book!'

I actually watched what the actress for Clara did after she stopped being the companion.  She starred in Victoria, a drama based on the history of the British Queen.  I think she's pretty cool.  My ace moment in there is that whenever she gets intimate with Prince Albert, I ask my mom if it's time for the next kid.  She had like nine kids so I think we got through eight so far.  For the latest season, Prince Albert collapsed on the floor for the finale and that was it.  I'm kind of feel trolled by a year long cliffhanger since they just make eight episodes a year and I'll have to wait until next January to see what happens.  My thoughts on the collapse is that he can't die yet.  He's supposed to live for another 10 years, and they have one more child to make.

I'm not sure what time I have to watch the episodes since I'm so busy.  I have so many things to do right now.  I got work, online classes, overdue sewing projects that I planned as gifts.  I'm also buying new materials for new projects then not starting them.

Had to look up that TV show on commonsensemedia (my 'go to' for knowing how and which kind of violence and sex stuff is included in a show/film) and SO GONNA WATCH IT! At least it doesn't seem crammed with sex like many other (historical) shows and is still well made.

But yes... if they haven't withhold an intimate scene between those two than what does that mean for the ninth child?? CONSPIRACY ^whuuuu^ (disclaimer: this is not meant serious!)

And one episode a day makes the Doctor feel yey (as in happy... I can't rhyme)

I watched Vieux Carre (pronounced view cray) by Tennessee Williams.  The naked scene was by this old predator guy who was living in the main character's apartment.  He was living there for years but wasn't paying his rent ever since he got some disability that didn't let him work.  He was trying to take advantage of the main character's (supposedly the playwright) internal struggle with his homosexuality.  The old guy was losing his control over him so he probably decided to unleash "the ultimate weapon".  The old guy was facing the main character from the side so one side of the audience saw it, but I guess you have to make sure everyone saw it, so he did turn himself to the rest of the audience.

I actually read an article about future seasons the other day and the writer explicitly said that there wouldn't be actual sex scenes shown because she believed that you don't need to show that to let people know the love the two had for each other.  Maybe for the first child, they showed a brief bedroom scene, but that was about it.  The rest is just them kissing and then they cut away.  There was a part where they visited the French(?) king and they were sounding loud and playful behind the (locked) doors of their room.  The maids and servants outside totally knew what they were doing and smiled at each other.  After I watch the episode, I go to the website for the channel and there they tell me which parts were historically accurate and which was just dramatized.  Like, there was a part where two guys kissed.  The writer decided that there was no evidence that it DIDN'T happen so she made it happen.  The likeliness of those two characters actually being together wasn't really high since in actual history, they served the Queen during different timeframes.

One ace moment that I can remember happened more than 12 years ago in school. This ace moment works in German only so I have to translate this  word:
Jungfrau = virgin or Virgo. In English they are two different terms, in German it is just one. I hope this makes kind of sense to you.

In art-class I had a short conversation with a classmate.

classmate: "Are you "Jungfrau"?"
Me: "No, I'm am Aries."
classmate:...(too surprised to answer)
Me thinking:"What a strange way to ask about my zodiac."

I didn't get the question at all. Months, maybe even years, later I realized that I wasn't asked about my zodiac and I was quiet shocked what the question really was about.

I hate the "adult content" warning. Do you mean gore and violence, which I'm super into, or sex scenes, which I'm super NOT?

I'm not into both but they could just state what they mean more clearly! Also because the question is not just 'does it contain Y' but like... how much, how explicit, in which context? That's why I like the way commonsensemedia rates stuff, so with different categories and a scale from 0 to 5 plus individual explanations for the scale rating. I know that's a lot... but even just putting up the scale for like 3-4 categories in the corner of a poster or the back of a DVD or whatever would be really nice

^me dreaming^

That pisses me off too. Though the idea that 'beautiful' sex is in the same category as sadistic violence and drugs makes me smile ;)

Ages and ages ago, I was scooter shopping. This was the early '00s, and there weren't a ton of new models to choose from, but I researched everything I could find online anyway. At the time, I worked a very dull and slow job, so there wasn't much else to do most of the time. One day, I realized a coworker had been staring at me, and turned around just in time to hear him say, "Man, you look at scooters the same way I look at porn."

I probably should've realized I was ace far, far sooner than I did.

I don't know what kind of scooters you mean, but I ride a Razor currently. 😄

I remember being 12 or so and I had read a book on what sex was. I seem to have skipped over the penis hardening part because for a loooong time, I couldn’t fathom how something so limp could get in the girl’s body. I would look at two people and if the girl and guy were overweight, I would wonder how the penis would be able to contort itself into her.

When I first learned of oral sex, I was so disgusted. To me it seemed the penis was a slobbery, hairy limp hot dog. Why would I ever put that in my mouth, much less that semen? Gross.

HA! Fair point, fair point. It seems like ages ago, to me. ☺️

I mean like Vespa kind of scooters (though I've also had Hondas, Aprilias, and Yamahas, too). And maybe my coworker was right, as I know he's had more than one girlfriend since that time, and I have my 7th scooter!

😷 Reading this just confirmed for the 1,697,358 time that I am indeed a flaming asexual and exclusively attracted to the female of the species.  Thank you.  Excuse me while I go barf up my lunch in the nearest trash receptacle. 😂

I'd rather see 'responsible' riders on these as opposed to the e bikes that barely have enough power to pass a bicycle and/or are ridden by people that have no regard or knowledge of our Highway Traffic Act. Then as they say, "Be careful what you wish for..."

Watching Thor with my mom and older sister. I was saying he’s pretty, they were saying he was hot. I literally just found his face aesthetically pleasing 😓 and then my little sisters asking what “we” went by hot. I couldn’t explain

I'm watching Game of Thrones with my parents and little sis. Awkward, I know. Mom, and sometimes the two others, look away during all violent bloody scenes. I don't. I only look away during the other kind of mature content.

Or even if someone is just threatening to take off a garment.

I joked we were kind of sharing the movie: 50% bloody stuff for me and 50% icky stuff for them.

They coudn't say I was childish or innocent that time, so they went for ''repressed''. Cool.

I know what you mean. With me there's a twist though. I've never watched a sex scene with someone else, but romantic kissing when I'm with some makes me sqeamish.

Oooo me too. And technically I haven't watched a sex scene with someone else. Or ever. I never stay long enough to actually witness it 😆 if it's just a kiss though, or moderate partial nudity, I usually block it off with my hand.

If I'm by myself I don't feel anything though. I guess it's a sense of embarassment for me if I'm watching with someone.

I guess thats one reason why going on a 'movie date' never interested me.

I think the two I did go on were Arnold Schwartzenegger's Predator and the comedy Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

Pretty sure there wasnt any romantic or sexual content in them.

While watching this: I did look away at the 'machine shop scene' in Under Siege. As a tradesman I didnt need to see the gore that ensued...

Wait, just to make this clear: "Normal" people actually don't mind watching sex scenes with others??? I always assumed it's uncomfortable for everyone. Don't tell me that's another ace thing...

The more surprising thing is that they generally like those scenes.

I don't really care either way, so long as it isn't there for the sake of being there.

Ah, then it's not quite the same, even by myself I find that kind of repulsive ^^' well as an aromantic that's not very surprising. There are really few exceptions where I don't mind cheek  kissing, and even appreciate it, but it's very specific.

Well, according to my parents, the unnecessary and excessive 🔞 scenes are there to attract the public, so, I guess they do...

hmm, I'm sure it depends on the person, but I do know people who don't care about that sort of thing and even comment on the scenes and such...

I just prefer watching films alone in general, because then I can skip stuff or close my eyes without having to explain

No, sorry, definitely an ace thing -most sexual people do in fact enjoy sex scenes.

I don't know whether you're just really into scooters or he's an unusually detached porn viewer, and both images are equally amusing.

I was reading a thread of funny D&D character names that people have come up with, and only understood why half of them were funny. I think that was an ace moment, but I can't be sure, because I don't know what the jokes in those names are supposed to be.

Just applying my rule: If you don't get the joke, it's A Sex Thing.

I have some Asian scooter from those times.  They were heavy but incredibly sturdy.  I ended up taking it with me to college to get around the huge campus.  After many years and then using it frequently, I think it started to wear down so I ended up buying a Razor.  That started breaking within a month or two.  The wheel was just rubber around a solid wheel and that was breaking off.  I think eventually I found the same Asian scooter lying around somewhere because back then we bought two, one for me and one for my cousin.  My cousin gave me hers so then I had another sturdy scooter to last until I finished school.  After having my scooter, I couldn't believe that the Razor was so fragile.  It's light, but it really didn't stand up to its use.

Midway through highschool, a group of friends (Guys), sitting me down and trying to explain how/why Lesbians were sexy.

...

they didn't really get anywhere with that one.

Also:

Me and friends trying to climb through narrow window (for reasons).

Girl: "I really don't think I'm going to fit through there."

Me: "Why not?"

Girl: "...  Chest."  - gestures at her... rather prominent chest area.

Me: "...Huh."
