Guest Fosco
Probably not. I think it's important to live in the real world, and that world involves diversity.
Blerdivor
Nah...There are more important identities that I have to contend with and on which I would rather live in a community.
tintinnabula
Although I'd love to be around people like myself, I wouldn't want to be tied down to one place. I want to travel and move often between countries, so having an "asexual hub" wouldn't work too well for me.
Guest FrozenCherry
Other. I want to go after ponytails no matter where they are.
KAGU143
I wouldn't want to. I'm not much of a city person. Now ... an entire asexual country? Maybe, if I could go back in time and do it when I was young. Not now, though. The apple trees that I planted in my yard are finally big and bearing lots of fruit now, and I won't be around long enough to start over with new ones. I'm as rooted as they are. -GB
PiF
god no some of the people in here get right on my tits ....why would I want them as neigbours? :P

MJM58
Yes, hinging on another factor. What I mean by this, is that it really all depends the state of my life at that point. If I can afford to move, then I'd consider it. If it was in a non-English-speaking country, then I'd try to learn the language before moving there. But it's also very likely that I wouldn't be in a position to move. Maybe I couldn't afford it, maybe I wouldn't be able to find work, maybe I'd miss my family, whatever. Senwyn1
It depends. I can't help but think that a city filled with only asexuals would not last long. Not because we can't run a fully productive city by ourselves, but because once we all die, there is no one to replace us. I also don't think it's good to create a divide. I don't like the idea of being segregated from sexuals. I think that leads to very closed groups and to be frank, I don't want all my friends to be asexual. I'd rather I knew a variety of people from different sexualities, in the same way I'd like to be friends with people from different religions and races. It's nice to have different things to talk about and conflicting ideas. At my university, most of the chinese students eat and hang out completely seperately from us (which is mostly due to a culture barrier) and I would hate for asexuals to act like that around sexual. I'd rather be able to walk down the street and meet all kinds of people. Edit- This hypothetical city would not be all asexuals, it would just have a high asexual population (much like San Francisco has a high homosexual population). Just read the above and would like to alter my initial statement. I would like to live in a city where there is a higher concentration of asexuals. It would be nice to live in a city where I could potentially go to the supermarket and bump into a fellow asexual. That would be very nice indeed.

Mistress D.
I think I'd stay near my home. I'm in high school so it seems to me that everyone is in a relationship but me. Of course, I know better but out of all my friends I'm the only one whose never been in one. It be a nice change from my little community but I'd miss my family and my friends(And their boyfriend/girlfriend drama) too much.
Selk
Maybe not me personally, but, it'd be nice to live somewhere without "sexy" banners and ads all over (though where I live is pretty rural so this is a non-issue, but city dwellers may get bugged by this). Plus, I'd like to have asexual friends to relate to and it'd make it easier for romantic asexuals to find others wanting a non-sexual relationship. But it would ultimately only alienate asexuals and sexuals (further).
lizzichka
I said "Other" because I'm not sure. I don't know any asexuals that I hang out with (though it's possible that I could just not know, since not all of my friends know about me...), so I would have to meet people to hang out with in the place. Also, the city itself would have to appeal to me (for example: I would move to San Francisco, but not LA, just because I have no interest in living in LA). Also, I'm generally okay with living with sexuals, so I'm not sure what it would change aside from making it easier to meet cool asexy people (which would indeed be nice). LadyL
I love the idea! I voted yes but with other factors. Like many, the things/activities that would be available to the community as well as job opportunities would be very important to me. Also, I think it's a little silly to think that not one single sexual would ever find themselves in an Ace city. Friends and family would surely visit, there would be tourists that are interested in the Ace city of the world, surrounding cities may have curious residents, etc. I think things would work just fine. Now, if we can just get this idea rolling within the next few years so I can move there!
Hermathena
If this city was within Europe (my continent) I would surely visit this city a lot , try to make friends and see how's life there and after a lot of ifs I might consider trying to live there.
Alex..y
I don't think so...I like diversity
Beatrice_Otter
I might, but only if it was a) within driving distance of my family and b) my synod would transfer me there.
Pandoren
It might be great to have a little asexy cul-de-sac or something...
andrea_deer
Nah, I need sexual people around to bother them about the details while I'm writing porn... And it'd be weird to just write and read porn with only aces around XD I would probably annoy the living hell out of some of them ;D
PiF
the idea we would suddenly have a utopia if we had an asexual city is silly what next....asexuals in the city, demi's and greys in the burbs, trans in the hamlets sometimes questions on here are just because someone is bored
Henny
god no some of the people in here get right on my tits ....why would I want them as neigbours? :P hehe  *gets hilarious mental image of sitcom featuring Henny, Blerd and Pif living in an apartment together and trying to make ends meet*
KestrelWings
I might if it was truly awesome, in the perfect location, and if I was rich enough to be conveyed to see my friends and family wert weekend. I think it would be hard to leave my wonderful family and friends behind, no matter how sexy they are and asexy the city would be. However, I think I will write a story about the perfect asexy city and maybe post it on AVEN, and second: What about an asexy floating island vacation home? It could move to different locations depending on the season and people wouldn't have to leave their lives, because it would just be a city of vacation homes! Thousands of happy asexuals from all over the world- no wait, they'd need a translator- oh, well, someone will invent one by the time we build an island. ;) Then we can walk around with audio language translators on our floating vacation island! InfiniteConciousness
I somewhat like the idea. I live near the UK's LGBT capital Brigton. I would definately visit and Asexual nightclub if one ever started.
Curiosa
I'd move there if it also seemed like nice place to live, in the way of its other qualities.
AnyOtherName
Nope. Shock, awe, all my friends and family are not asexual. I might move away eventually, for school, work, or because I feel like it, but why exactly would I want to be around other asexuals, specifically? I don't decide who I want to hang out with based on sexuality/lackthereof, why would I want to move to a whole 'nother city for no other reason?
Vampyremage
If it was within my country I'd consider moving there. Maybe. I'd definitely at least want to visit and check it out, no matter where the city was located.
BaronTheCat
I would, if I could get a job there. I'd move almost anywhere if I could get a good job there! Though not to a country with an evil dictator...
Pandoren
I still think it would be more practical to get a group of people together to buy out an apartment block or, even better, a cul de sac or something (if we found one being built, we could all get in early lol). Cul de sac might be nice...
