Sammie
The best lines of Hedwig and The Angry Inch are from the song Wicked Little Town: I was just a boy And you were so much more Than any god could ever plan, More than a woman or a man. Sniff sniff... *hides tears of emotion* Youtube video: AWESOMENESS!!! ps:Love the george joke. hehe. I think the androgynous look can be quite pretty, but could never pull it off myself... Though I often buy men's clothes certain attributes assert themselves no matter what... I have the same problem. There's no hiding some things.
Guest EGD
.... .... With short hair--or if I am tired--I think people have to do a second take. The 3rd pic is an older pic of Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

Hallucigenia
(and that Rolling Stones cover? Best picture I've seen of any couple, anyone know who did the posing and photography on that?) That was was Annie Leibovitz.
Ack42
Don't forget Hilary Swank in the real-life movie "Boys Don't Cry" about Brandon Teena. During the movie I kept forgetting that the actor and the character were physically female. Very sad story though. Kelly
Thanks, Ack42. Amazing. Boys Don't Cry always make me cry and it can hurt to watch it. There is also a documentary with all of the real people in it: The Brandon Teena Story And Brandon himself:

I have been meaning to get around to watching this movie again--I think I've seen it two or three times, but I just cry so much when I watch it. Hmm, I wonder if NID has seen Ma Vie en Rose. I think it's a guy It's cool though! ETA: Yeah it's a guy. xD Oh, and has anyone played Harvest Moon: Magical Melody? Jamie, anyone?

Kelly
Angels tend to be androgynous.
Dame du Lac
This is a fantastic thread and I love the pictures (even though I don't know who some of the younger people are). Re: Angels tend to be androgynous. I think this is an excuse for someone more computer savvy than me to post another picture of Alan Rickman - as an angel in Dogma.
ThePieMaker
I think most art from the Middle Ages in Europe portrays everyone as rather androgynous. Maybe not always in clothing, but the male and female faces always seem to look the same.

Kelly
Besides angels ('cept for Professor Snape), Hindu gods are often androgynous. Here is, of course, the god Krishna: The god Shiva: Bahuchara, the goddess of transsexuals: And Ardhanarisvara, the god/goddess of androgyny:
inner_terrestrial
sometimes (ok, all the time) i wish i was more flat chested so i could pull off this androgynous thing. it looks so damn cool! loving the Shane L-word look especially, plus the first picture on the left that TFP posted :)

The world needs more awesome hats. :D EDIT: Photo gone, I generally don't like pictures of myself. Maybe I'll get one of the hat alone.
