Des
Our story begins last year We cut down three cherry trees, two pines, and a tulip poplar for some free lumber and also to make way for our pool. The wood was all planed up and stacked at my grandpa's; all I had to do was go over, get the boards I needed, and build what I wanted. Well, I built some dorm room furniture. Unfortunately, I used some of the cherry (which is expensive and valuable) that my mom was going to make kitchen cabinets out of to make my shelves. She got REALLY mad. At this point, I don't see the harm: there's still plenty of wood, and oh well the shelves are already built. But she wants me to take them apart so she can salvage as much wood as possible, and build the shelves out of something else. How do I keep my shelves and get back on her good side?
