Sootmouth
This book contains a scene where a man called Haydn (a minor character unfortunately) tells his cousin Alban (the main character) that he has never been interested in sex. Alban is a bit shocked since he has always thought Haydn was a closet homosexual. Alas, our favourite "A" word isn't mentioned but I have a feeling in my gut that Iain Banks has been reading up on asexuality. Chris
