SleevedAce
I also knew them as stuffed animals but I find plushie more endearing and better reflect my feelings about them. I've not had any since my parents gave/threw away the ones I had as a child. I may have looked up some prices recently and may have come across this video while doing that. AceArospec
I also always heard/used the term "stuffed animals" & had several growing up that I usually got at Christmas presents from "Santa." (In fact, it was one the reasons I was sure santa must be real since my parents were so against them usually claiming they were too expensive and took up too much space.) I had one favorite that I slept with every night as a child and never wanted to be without. I used to pack it along with a change of clothes that I'd wrap in a blanket and tie to a bamboo pole the many times I would "runaway" from home as a young child (picture "The Runaway" by Norman Rockwell 🙃)
everywhere and nowhere
P.S. On 8/31/2025 at 9:37 PM, everywhere and nowhere said: At the age of four I would already put a striped (although not really tigerlike) bathrobe belt behind my pants and pretend that it's my tail... Recently I introduced Pavlychko to Mr. Ahmet, my Turkish teacher (he already realises what a weirdo I am), and he laughed when I told him the bathrobe belt story.
PHOEBE00
I have a big "feline pillow" that I call Stuffy Cat. I got him last March at a BAM! location. He was so incredibly cute that I had to take him home.
Considered A Hazard
Kit's been with me since I was 3. Kit's not going anywhere! Spoiler Kit and my dog Volki, right now.
PHOEBE00
I have two "real Kitties" named Ivy and Kitten. They stay at home take naps while I am gone. Stuffy Cat often goes places with me. I hug him when I want to feel better.
