Intersecting Asexuals Headcount

  1. 1. I wanted to get a number on how many asexuals have intersecting identities for their orientation. I realize not all aces use the split attraction model, but I know a good chunk of us do. I will admit I dont know all labels whether umbrella terms or micro labels so if I missed yours, please feel free to write it in the comments. That goes for everyone too if they wanna state how they voted!

Wouldn't this be better as a multiple choice so you don't have to pick between 'trans' and the other options?

Yeah I'd also like to vote for more than one. I can't be trans and panromantic and greyromantic and nonbinary?

Anyways, here's some ace community survey stats:

There's a lot more stats, for each year, but they tend to be quite similar. >10.000 responses per year.

Like @Frameshift07 and @Rynn said, this would be better with a "check all that apply" option.  I answered grey romantic, but I'm a grey pan open to poly romantic.  Human beings are complicated creatures.

Heteroromantic asexual, which may be one of the most inherently straight-passing orientations, which I suspect has made it slightly easier to navigate the fairly traditionalist village I live in.

Librafluid and gray–cross-oriented I guess. To put it as concisely as I can

Triple A works well enough though

Aro-Ace, with an unspecified/indistinct sense of gender.

I filled out a form the other day and the options were "straight" "gay" "bisexual" and "asexual," and I was kinda disappointed that I had to pick "asexual" since it felt like denying my panromanticism.  But I guess to be fair, the question was about sexual orientation and not romantic orientation.

Sometimes I wish we could redo or undo polls on AVEN. I’m pretty sure I picked last time ‘aromantic asexual’, but I’m a greyromantic asexual now.

Well there's always next year to revote.

Demi+heteroromantic ace, technically in a gay relationship due to my partner finding out they're trans, so kind of gay/bi "passing" in a way even though I don't think of myself that way.  It's just kind of an unusual circumstance.

Still hard for me to know if I'm trans in the "doesn't really experience gender" sense or if it's just a symptom of the greater issue of feeling a disconnect with the human body altogether.  Since I'm not becoming incorporeal or something any time soon regardless though, I'm effectively agender/genderless.

It's maddening, I feel you. You'd think that nowadays when even people who have little to do with LGBT+ know what 'pansexual' means, people would also know that asexuality doesn't equal being unable to fall in love. But nope. Apparently that's over people's heads.

I'm on aromantic spectrum, but strongly homo-oriented. Does it make me gay ace or aroace?
