halcyon.days
English translation: Everyone, can you speak Japanese? I've been studying Japanese for around two years and enjoy using the language whenever I can.
plasticdinosaur
I am learning a little bit, but it's not the best. I don't have an option on my computer to type in the language, so I would only be able to use google translate or something on here. I don't trust google translate though, I've heard that it messes things up sometimes. I'm trying to learn a ton of other languages as well besides Japanese. I haven't been studying them recently, but they are: German, Spanish, Italian, Korean, and for a brief amount of time I was learning Gaelic and Norwegian. I gave up on those two. At that point, I had already taken on the other languages and it was too stressful.
Vero Totem
I studied Japanese a little bit in college (two semesters separated by years of not having a teacher available) and I am sad to say I haven't retained as much as I would have liked. Every now and then, though, I surprise myself when I'm watching anime or a JDrama and I say "That's not what they said." I have difficulty remembering my hiragana, I remember very little katakana, and I am lost on kanji. I remember simple ones like "ta," "ka," "yama," and "kama."
fragglerock
I studied for several years and a semester at a Japanese immersion school in Tokyo. I was at a basic conversational level and after some hours of Japanese content the rust starts coming off and if subtitles are on I can pick up a few new words. I'd really enjoy reaching fluency but I've been busy with other projects.
Frameshift07
ヴラメシフタは日本語に学ぶ! I've been doing research on the language for the past 5 days. I hardly remember any vocabulary yet (except a few really common ones like わたし / 私 and obviously にほんご/日本語), but I know most of my hiragana/katakana (plus their use cases), a few Kanji, and the grammar is starting to click. It's proven to be a very fascinating language to me, and I'm looking forward to working on it more
harmonic turquoise
I speak Japanese as my native language, so I can speak it easily. I’m still learning English, and sometimes it’s really hard for me—especially understanding jokes!💦 I’d love to practice and chat with anyone who wants to.

u.amaya
I learned a tiny bit of Japanese last year, but now I'm a bit rusty with the vocabulary... I used to know the basics to start a very simple conversation. But I can still read hiragana, katakana, and a very small amount of kanji too.
