I know I am ACE , I have little interest in personal sexual intimacy, though I do enjoy erotica.

my issue that is blowing my mind right now is that I have started to want to wear female underwear (I am male).  The attraction is that they look nicer, the materials are softer and yes they are prettier.

I don’t know what’s going on, am I imagining it, am I abnormal, I have never felt so confused.

any thoughts would be welcomed.

No, you’re not abnormal. Also, liking female underwear doesn’t necessary have anything to do with sexuality or gender dysphoria. If you like the underwear because of the materials and how they look, that’s totally valid. We are told from an early age that men and women should prefer different kinds of underwear, but that’s not always the case.

These seem like rational reasons to like an article of clothing. No need to overthink it, in my opinion. I mean, I prefer men's pants b/c they're usually better quality, cheaper, looser and have way better pockets than women's. But at the end of the day, clothes are clothes. They don't have to be gendered. That's just marketing.

There are actually a non-insignificant number of guys who like to wear women's underwear, even cis men who have little or no interest in anything beyond that. Some sites that sell women's underwear even acknowledge that, some to the extent that they welcome guys who buy for themselves. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, and it doesn't have to mean anything other than liking the feel, the look, etc. Just enjoy it.
