A new way to apply for Deletion Requests

Since the current Update, there has been new buttons given to the Membership in the Security Options, these are the PII (Personal Identifying Information) Requests and Deletion Requests, this for the first time has given the Membership the option to Delete their own Account, it only needs a quick approval Admin side to confirm the deletion, no longer a Member requires to interact with the Deletion Request Thread or PM an Admin.

 

At this moment in time, we are not serving PII Request due to serious security concerns with this feature.

 

This is how Security Options now look like:-

As we are serving Account Deletions with this new feature, there's a few steps to Approve Account Deletion, as long as the Member has access to their E-mail.

 

Once the Button has been pressed this is the message you're given

It will ask you to click a Link to confirm Deletion, this generates an e-mail

Clicking the Confirm Deletion in your Email will then turn up as a list of Deletions to be confirmed, it will only be a a simple approval confirmation Admin side to then go ahead with the deletion

 

You will no longer hold an account with us and are free to leave or create a new account any time
