What are sitcoms you watched? Yes, I picked ones involving real people. I'll do cartoon one next if some one haven't gotten to that yet.

I've seen episodes of quite a number of those just randomly here and there, but the only ones I've more intentionally watched and seen a lot of are Friends, That 70s Show and Frasier. If the list wasn't American-only, I've watched too many British sitcoms to even count really. That's mostly what I grew up seeing rather than American stuff, and still watch more of. And there are some American ones not on your list that I've watched (things like Arrested Development, Modern Family, Scrubs...) plus a handful of Canadian ones as well.

Sabrina and Fresh Prince were my childhood. 😄 Would occasionally watch Friends too.

Snap.

Though I've probably seen most episodes of most on that list bar the ones aimed at a younger audience ( Sabrina, Sister Sister, Boy meets world) due to when they came out.

There are a few on this list I’ve not heard of and a couple more I didn’t realise were sitcoms.

I’ve also seen loads of British sitcoms. Not surprising, given where I’m from.  Plus, there were only three or four tv channels in my childhood, and I seem to remember there used to be restrictions on how much US tv the stations could broadcast.

MASH used to be a must see in our house too.

Yeah same, there were a couple I've never heard of.

Also same. Gilmore Girls isn't what I'd call a sitcom. To me it's a drama with some comedic elements at times. Also I think of sitcoms as things that run in half-hour time slots, and the runtime of Gilmore Girls is meant to fit in an hour (with commercials).

So the ones I never really watched

- gilmore girls (I feel that is a big one I missed out on), charmed, full house, the nanny, wings, Martin (had to google this)

The others I definitely watch. My favourite was Sabrina,  and I loved Sister Sister.

Ooooh yes, I got into that recently. I love and often relate to Jess, haha.

And yeah, Arrested Development is one of my favourite TV shows ever.

In addition to some of the ones in the poll (Friends, Frasier, and a few others) here are some others I have watched:

Cheers

MASH

Mad About You (this is where Ursula, Phoebe Buffay's sister, first showed up)

And plenty of older ones:

The Dick Van Dyke Show

The Mary Tyler Moore Show

The Bob Newhart Show

Newhart

Bewitched

I Dream of Jeanie

The Andy Griffith Show

Hogan's Heroes

The Addams Family (60s sitcom)

The Munsters

Get Smart

Barney Miller

Taxi

And a few UK ones on PBS:

As Time Goes By

Jeeves & Wooster (if it counts as a sitcom)

Blandings Castle (ditto)

At least the ones that come readily to mind. :)

I also don't think of Gilmore Girls as a sitcom. Nor Charmed (the original series).

Would I get snubbed if I mentioned I've never actually watched Friends? I just get clips of them all the time on Facebook.

This holds for Charmed also.

I've seen like a small number of episodes of quite a few of those. Ones which I'd say "I watched?" Like regularly? None of those.

After getting discharged from the Navy for mental health reasons I feel into a deep depression. for 6 months I didn't want to go anywhere oir talk to anyone. The only joy I had in my life at the time was Gilmore Girls.

From the list:

That 70s Show - until the sex jokes get to be way too much

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air - Will Smith - whoot. Any way, I am curious about the new show Bel-Air which looks to be a great deal more serious in tone.

Full House

The Nanny - mostly reruns

Sabrina The Teenage Witch

Wings

Frasier

Will & Grace

Roseanne

Plus ones not listed:

Night Court (original run)

Bewitched

M*A*S*H

Spin City

Family Ties

The Addams Family

The Munsters

The Ghost & Mrs. Muir (TV series based off the movie of the same name)

Did someone mention Canadian comedies?

You Can't Do That on Television

Corner Gas

The Red Green Show

Schitt$ Creek

Slings & Arrows

& Britcoms?

I grew up watching a lot of PBS over the years and these are a small number of my favorites:

Are You Being Served

May to December

As Time Goes By

Red Dwarf

Waiting for God

The Vicar of Dibley

Black Books

Black Adder in all its varied forms

My Hero

Fawlty Towers

Monty Python

Keeping Up Appearances

:wub:The Good Life (aka Good Neighbors here in the states)

Same :) I have seen snippets on TV, but I don't believe I've ever been interested enough to watch an entire episode.

Also, M*A*S*H gang :D Some episodes were pretty intense and suspensful, though, not meant to be funny at all.

Out of those mentioned in the poll, That 70s show rocks. That swivelling camera :D

I'm not really into sitcoms and very much not into watching TV in general. I watch films sometimes, but I prefer films for children. Generally, what I prefer are visually beautiful and magical films with a philosophical / spiritual touch (for example "Coco", "Encanto", "Selma's Big Wish"... and I need to finally see the Ukrainian film "Mavka and the Forest Guardians", or whatever the English title might be). But I also watch not very serious Turkish children's series for linguistic purposes.

but I haven't watched anymore than a few episodes at random times because they were playing and i was bored.

I've never sought out watching any of these shows. I enjoyed my time with them, but I guess I was drawn towards other things more.

Keeping Up Appearances

Possibly my favourite show in the world. I've watched every episode countless times, originally back in the 90s on television, but now I own them all on iTunes. There's a podcast, Keeping Up Appearances: The Luxury Podcast, where the hosts -- etiquette consultant William Hanson and BBC Radio host Jonathan Vernon-Smith -- recount and analyse every episode and give their opinions, and also have special podcast episodes with interviews with actors, expeditions to filming locations, etc.

My other favourite 90s British sitcom is the seemingly little-known Mulberry. Odd, sweet... I love it. About a grumpy and wealthy old spinster who befriends an odd and very endearing stranger named Mulberry when he joins her staff. Turns out he's the son of the Grim Reaper, sent to collect her, but he likes her too much and can't do his job.

In recent-ish years, Friday Night Dinner (about a Jewish family who gets together every Friday for a family dinner, which is usually a disaster in some way or another) is excellent. And I just got into The Cleaner (dark but hilarious, about a professional crime scene cleaner) a couple months ago.

None of these shows I have watched however I have seen sitcoms like The Golden Girls, Superstore, I Love Lucy, and Abbott Elementary. I would love to watch of some of these shows though. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Sister, Sister are top on my list.

I was tempted to mention this one, but wasn't sure anyone would recognize it. It's a bittersweet series.

The Mary Tyler More Show is my all-time fave.

I also enjoyed Arrested Development, Community, Schitt's Creek, Extras (British).  And the ones that came on when I was younger:  A Different World, Full House, Step by Step, Hey Dude, Clarissa Explains it All.

Oh!  And currently watching Abbott Elementary, which is fantastic.

Friends - Seen all the way through, many many times. I love that show, and rewatch it 1-2 times a year, just gives me joy.

Will and Grace - Seen all of except the most recent stuff when they brought out a new season or two. Loved that show, but not as much as Friends.

Modern Family - I am currently on the final season and enjoy the show a great deal.

Seen a fair bit growing up, but not all or regularly:
Charmed (original, not the remake which I haven't seen)
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
Everybody Loves Raymond
Sabrina The Teenage Witch (original, have seen some of the remake)
Frasier (not the remake)
Roseanne
3rd Rock From the Sun

Other
Seinfeld - I saw most of the first episode last year, but just wasn't into it and switched off

Not seen to my recollection:
That 70's Show
Gilmore Girls
Sisters Sisters
Full House (but I have seen all of the sequel Fuller House)
The Nanny
Wings
Boy Meets World
Ellen
Martin

There's a lot of others I seen a fair bit off, but too many to list at this time because I probably have gone and overtyped already :D

I guess everything on the list is American?  There's a lot more British sitcoms that I've seen (The Young Ones, Bottom, Blackadder, The IT Crowd, Black Books, Fawlty Towers, Absolutely Fabulous, The Office, Spaced, Peep Show).  Plus the beloved Australian classic: Kath & Kim.

How about 'Allo 'Allo :) It's painfully silly, the same gags in every episode, but it's stil funny somehow.

I watched Friends, That 70s Show, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and The Nanny. Out of them, I liked only That 70s Show, and sometimes Friends, but I've never watched them regularly. The Nanny I always found annoying for sone reason.
