And depending who it is I think I'm annoying, like if it's just random people I'm not concerned about having a real connection with, I can pretty easily talk myself out of that worry. With people I like to be around, I don't often feel like I'm annoying them because I probably like them due to us having a good rapport. Though I know I can get on nerves on occasion, but generally I think I'm pretty easy to get along with. I have a nasty sense of humor but it's only shared with people who know me well and won't be shocked. As others have said, the older I've gotten the less I've cared about being annoying. artzcat Posted January 30, 2025 Share Posted January 30, 2025 This question made me realize that while I worry about if I come across as unlikable, dumb, mean, awkward, insecure, childish, boring, etc., I actually never worry about being annoying. I think with most people I’m way too quiet or shy to think that I would be annoying. I've got better at knowing when to stop spewing information and ask something that keeps the other person in the conversation. As part of ongoing Census organisation, and in an attempt to keep the demographics of the polls current with the active user base at the time, the polls will last for one year from now on.
