Which fighting games have you played before?

Some Street Fighter back in the old good NES times. Nothing else.

Almost all, except for Killer Instinct and the Nickelodeon one. I've also played others, like the Guilty Gear games, and other random ones I can't think of.

None of them ever. I've played only one video game in my entire life -- The Sims, for a few months in late 2015.

Do phone games count? I used to play Snake on an old Nokia phone circa 2000. I play Solitaire and a few simple word games and match-three style games on my iPhone. But no, no video/computer games besides The Sims briefly.

 

Edit: Oh, I played Solitaire and Minesweeper on the family computer running Windows 3.1 in the 90s... 😂

I believe that would count, yeah. The first video games were mostly digital ports of things like Draughts and Tic Tac Toe.

One of the Tekken games, but it was in the 90s so I don't recall which one.  That was the only time I have played anything on a console.

I played various multiple editions of each of tekken, mortal kombat, super smash, street fighter,  and wwe games.

The first fighting game I bought was Tobal no1. 
After that I fell in love with the Soul Calibur games.

I never got into fighting games. I've lived most of my life in remote areas and I didn't have many friends in general, and fighting games seemed kind of boring without someone to play them with

Street Fighter, Tekken,  Mortal Combat, WWE, Brutal: Paws of Fury, and a few others. Not really my thing anymore, but played them a lot growing up before I got into 4X and strategy.

I’ve played a mix of them, mainly Mortal Kombat and Tekken. Those were staples growing up, especially on the PlayStation. My cousins and I would spend hours on tournaments, trash-talking, and button-mashing until someone pulled off a fatality or a cool combo. Guilty Gear was one I got into later; it feels faster-paced and has some great visuals)

I grew up on a steady diet of Tekken and Mortal Kombat too! Tekken was such a staple for my siblings and me. We would have all-night tournaments, trying to master combos and counter moves. Mortal Kombat was on a whole other level with the crazy fatalities. I didn't get much into Guilty Gear, but I've heard the fantastic visuals are definitely on my list to try.
