Janus the Fox Posted September 2 Share Posted September 2 We have had waves of spam for a protracted time, longer than usual, and it has stayed that way for much of the year. Therefore we have turned on controls to help mitigate this flood of spam. From this point forward, we have formally set spam flood control to allow our new members only one post every 30 minutes. This is being done to control the flood of spam. Unfortunately, new members cannot rapidly make posts and must wait for 30 minutes before they can post again. This restriction is lifted upon making 25 posts and becoming a regular member with unrestricted posting. These settings shall allow our staff to flag spammers and ban them with less spam generated for staff and members to deal with.
