My name is Steve and I have known that I was graysexual for only the past 3 years.  For the past 10 years I have attended a primarily allosexual event known as the Rochester Erotic Arts Festival.  I have made friends in that community, especially with the event organizers, and recently convinced them that they should also have a class or two to talk about asexuality.  In turn they asked me to help them locate a suitable lecturer(s) through my connections with the Ace community. 

 

*Ideally, I am looking for someone/or a pair of people, in the central (upstate) New York area. 

*They need to be very knowledgeable in all aspects of asexuality and able to give a half hour to 2 hour discussion/lecture on what they know.

*Candidates MUST be ok and comfortable with being at a "severely" allosexual event were erotic displays are not limited to the artwork at the event.

*Lecturer(s) will need to be available to give said lecture in the spring of 2025.  The event date for this has not been set yet but is typically around April.  The event itself lasts from a Friday afternoon to that Sunday morning, but you will not be required to stay for the whole event.

 

Please contact me if you have any interest in this and include any questions and information about you that will help the coordinators decide on who should represent our Ace community.  There will be some vetting required to make sure you meet not only the specifications of this role but are also a safe person to be invited into this event.

Just wanted to clarify, when I said "

*Ideally, I am looking for someone/or a pair of people, in the central (upstate) New York area"

 It is only because the event takes place not far from Syracuse, New York and I felt that I might be asking too much of you to travel a great distance for this event.
