I'm majoring in Visual Communications (fancy term for Graphic Arts) right now, but it still remains to be seen whether I'll graduate :x . I have a bad track record with school. In the past, let's see... I've also majored in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science. I'm on the, er... 10-year plan towards my degree...

Even though I'm 56, I'm studying Environmental Studies with the Open University. I think the brain is like any other 'muscle' and needs to be exercised, even as we get older. It also helps to keep me receptive to new ideas, and I hope will prevent me from becoming like my mum, I don't want my sons to resent me as I did her for a long time (but, happily no longer)

Think I must be the solitary vote for Theology (don't ask...). Was attracted to the university's mediƦval library and the course requirements of classical Greek, Latin and Hebrew. Hadn't realised quite how out of place I'd be as the sole Jewish atheist in a Jesuit college... Years later studied musicology and musical instrument-making. Naturally neither of the above have had any practical value on my choice of career.

Am I being blind? I can't see a physics option.

I choose maths though, since I'm actually doing a joint maths and physics degree.

I WISH I majored in chemical engineering. I picked biology because it was my favorite subject in high school. In college, I did a lot better in math and chemistry than biology. Now I'm very interested in how biotech drugs/medicines are manufactured and designing/testing protocols for processing drugs.

Not really sure how 'majors' work... you do minors too? What does it end up saying on your certificate you get at the end? Can you change minors during the course, or do you decide them at the beginning?

But my degree was in Computer Science.

I'm majoring in Microbiology and minoring in Music and English. And yes I know these have nothing to do with each other... But I just love them all! :D (before I was double majoring in Biology and Music Performance, which was insane).

And I'd like to add education. I put my two undergrad degrees earlier but I have since returned to school (grad school) to study education. I noticed no one else here studies it and I wanted to represent.

Tropical Ecology here. I note that Biology/Chemistry is the most popular discipline - how many other environmentally-related subjects here?

Just finished Interior Design, now starting on Astrophysics... it's funny where you can end up.

I put the Communications/Advertising option, but I'm really more or less majoring in writing; just not literature. I want to write scripts for movies and TV shows.

Mine's triple: Japanese, Russian, Foreign Relations...so I picked Spanish/French/German/other

It was going to be Computer Science, but that's in the math department and I think higher levels of programming require a few levels of Calculus. I hate math. I still love to program though. I'll actually have 10, I think, maybe 11, math credits for college when I graduate high school because of my programming classes and calc.

Psychology and Digital Media Design, which is the Engineering school, and it involves a little of fine arts, design, computers, communications, math, programming, social science... pretty much everything I like. I'm barely in my second year.

I'm pretty much going to be here for more than my fair share of the average four years...

Back when I started college, I was majoring in criminology. Mostly because it was a community college and it was that or nursing. After that semester I transferred to another college and changed over to a theater major. Lasted one and a half semesters there before I had to drop out to recover from a surgery. Then I transferred to a decent college and finally had the chance to major in art... only to have my financial aid completly messed up and was forced to drop out yet again. :x

German, but it's only for one semester. I plan to do Economics and French.

But I chose the language alternative, because I want to show some linguist-pride :D
