English translation: I am Magda, and I am asexual and biromantic. I may be attracted to both men and women, but sexual attraction doesn't interest me at all. It has always been this way. Hi again. (I may write strangely because I use a space key on my keyboard instead of the letter 's'. It hasn't been working for some time now.) I hope this is a genuine forum and not deserted in a few days. I'm here just for a conversation. My reply: Welcome friend. I hope you feel very welcome here. In polish: Witaj, przyjacielu. Mam nadzieję, że czujesz się tutaj bardzo mile widziany. LeChat
@Magoli Hi. Welcome! In case you might be interested in this, I just thought I'd help mention that there's, also, a Polish asexuality forum: Forum SEA - Wykaz forów (asexuality.org). I hope this helps! (Below is an official, green, mod message.) Hi! I'm just letting you know I've moved your thread from the Welcome Lounge to the "Alternate Language" forum. Magoli

Jelle
Strange grammar, this whole post looks like copy-paste from Google Translate (can @Piotrek confirm maybe?)
LeChat
(Below is an official, green, mod message.) Hi, everyone! This is just a friendly, helpful, general post to mention that AVEN has members of various ages (i.e. 13+) from around the world, including members whose first language isn't English. Some might have experienced prejudge, discrimination, mocking, etc. for their language ability for a foreign language(s) before joining AVEN; some members might be neurodivergent or have a disability; or, sometimes, members' keyboard letters might be stuck. Communication can be a challenge for everyone, for a variety of reasons. Options can include asking others how best to help communicate with them. There are helpful internet resources on how to help communicate/offer support to members who might be neurodivergent or have a disability. These are some reasons why it can feel important for all members to feel welcomed. As the TOS mentions, if members are concerned about anything on the forums, they're welcome to contact Admods for help or to use AVEN's report system. Helping do that can help keep the peace between members, to help prevent situations from escalating. No worries! It's okay for anyone to use translation services, if they need to. Here's an AVEN thread with a list: Translation resources - Alternate Language Forum - Asexual Visibility and Education Network I hope this information helps. Jelle
Pointing out that someone's first language is most likely not the language they write in, from a person who speaks exactly this language decently, is not discrimination.
seran
While the grammar is off, it could be written using autofill, and anyway it's an old post. Not sure if this person even is on the forums anymore.
LeChat
(Below is an official, green, mod message.) Hi, everyone. Here's a friendly reminder from the TOS that explains greenies and what members can do if they'd like to ask any questions for clarification about those. Quote ...4.6 Warn and Ban System and other official notices The Admod Team has every right to issue the following disciplinary measures as they see fit: a. "Play nice warning" -- Official communications from Moderators or Administrators are posts in bold green or red text. These are similar to nudges but are not directed at anyone in particular. They are posted in a thread that might escalate into flaming. Green or red posts in a thread may be considered a nudge depending upon the severity of the situation. Even though they do not name anyone specifically, continuing the action that prompted the green/red post may result in editing or removal of content and further disciplinary action per the discretion of the moderator. Green and red posts that do not fall under this criteria include thread/post moves, post locks, or other in-thread instructions or announcements... ...4.3 Vigilante Modding ...If you feel the need to address the actions of a specific member of the team, this is not a matter for the open board. Options include politely and respectfully sending a PM to that team member or an administrator, or if the situation is severe enough to warrant it, the report system. Admods are bound by a privacy/breaching policy and may not be able to answer any question(s) about specific incidents (and/or members) until declassed. Disrespectful, antagonizing posts, memes, and/or PMs to a staff member(s), false public forum and PM accusations, and/or false reporting against an Admod aren't acceptable and may be dealt with by the Admod team... Admods post greenies for an important reason(s), according to the TOS, to keep peace between members in threads and forums, basically, letting members know, politely, to please, change a topic. Thread locked. LeChat, Welcome Lounge, Announcements, and Alternate Language moderator
