Now for my favourite stats:

I listened to 14,526 minutes of music this year holy shit. Not surprisingly at all, my top artist was Mafumafu (I’m in the top 1% of his listeners fuck yeah), and I listened to his music for 1054 minutes this year. My top genres are independent music, Japanese rock, soundtracks (?) and folk. 
59% of what I listened to is comprised of “deep cuts”, and 76% of it is high-energy. 
Now if only they could make it screen-reader accessible and it would be perfect.

So, as I said above, I thought maybe you had to be using Youtube Music for the stats to show up... but, turns out, I got a Recap as well, and it seems accurate from my just listening on regular Youtube 😮 that said, I listen to so much new (to me) music all the time (well, I guess a lot is "just" new covers of songs I've already heard - I keep discovering more artists because of people doing collaborations with each other 😆), it's not many that I actually listen to more than once lol.

 

I wonder though, I couldn't find the more detailed stats... is that, perhaps, because I only used the web browser version on my computer? I'd honestly have loved to see more, but, I can at least screenshot the top of the top100 list, because at least I got that ^^

 

I know it's accurate, too, because these are songs I actually do remember listening to more than once occasionally I do listen to my "hyper-favourites" list, which I selectively and occasionally add to... and the nr 1 spot, I did click on as the beginning song (or just as a one-off) several times 😌 also YES those are my favourite Mafu songs...

@Artemis42 I got confused as it's been my first time using it and when i first checked it had summer recap and that didn't have any minutes etc I'm assuming it's only winter recap that has how many minutes etc on.

It doesn't look like it worked. I don't see any BTS anywhere.  Go to the three dots at the top of your playlist, then select "Add to other playlist" and then click the green button that says "New Playlist." You can share that. It's what Kimmie showed in screenshots, but those are the english words lol.

@nazokashiiYeah honestly I use regular YouTube more often than YT Music too, I just pay for premium so YT Music just comes along with it.

To see the more detailed stats I went into the YouTube Music app on my phone, went into “account”, and my recap was right in there. Then there’s a button you can tap/click to see them.

Text in images generally isn’t readable by screen-readers unless I use specific apps to detect the text for me, or there’s alt text. The reader on my phone can also generate its own image descriptions sometimes, including text, but it will just ignore non-English text so that didn’t work for this image lol. Anyway.

I love the Ado in your list as well! 
Looks like my top Mafu song from this year was his cover of Kanaria’s Yoidore Shirazu, which is funny because I remember listening to it a lot but that’s mostly because it just happened to pop up in my playlist a lot whenever I hit shuffle lol. My top Ado song was Kagakushu which I remember actively listening to on repeat lol. Weird that they’re both ranked somewhat low though.

I'm still confused about two things.

1. The playlists don't even show up to me, unless they're made by users themselves. 

2. Why rock, for God's sake. Based on my 100 songs most of it is Dutch hip hop, djent, electro-industrial and some other kinds of metal, with occasional pop rock somewhere

Seriously! A majority of people who has posted their wrapped online, both here and in other places, ends up with a broad category like "rock" or "pop" as their top genre, even if this doesn't reflect their actual listening habits

This is weird. That doesn't describe much, does it?  this is why I liked that last.fm feature that calculated a tag cloud based on your top 50 artists, that was pretty accurate too bad last.fm has changed so much during these years.

Glad someone brought up Last.fm.  Now, that's the list where you can really see my stats for the year, because most of what I listen to is transferred ("scrobbled") to the overall list which can then be fine-tuned by time period. The tag cloud feature is indeed gone, or at least not available with the free account that I'm using.

I'm using a free account as well, and the website I linked still calculates the tags now I found out they have manual filtering option, so I got rid of that one tag (lol) and now it looks like this:

It probably is  But the problem with those tagclouds is that they throw all the tags, including the overlapping ones, into the same bag so you get "metal" mixed with "power metal", "symphonic metal", etc. Wait. there's a way to "uncheck" a tag. Lemme try this.

Also, I didn't notice any way to copy the tagcloud.

I don't know if that was Spotify's plan with the Wrapped concept but it's a welcome side effect.
