It's from February 2021, when I went for a walk and walked out into the middle-ish of the (frozen) lake my city is on. It's weird out there, just surrounded by open space and a huge expanse of ice. My ex-husband and I were sitting in a McDonald's one evening in a city about an hour away from home and the sunset was spectacular. I snapped a quick photo and didn't realise until I was looking at it later that the lights on the ceiling inside the restaurant were reflecting off the window and looked kind of cool against the sky. A bit otherworldly. Like being inside and outside at the same time, or like the heavens had lights haha. (Obvs the colours are enhanced here, but the sunset was impressive without the editing too.) 8 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
