My hero would probably have to be Oliver Sacks: he inspired me to become a scientist to begin with. To be a neuro-anything in your low 20s, still, that is quite impressive. I am in awe. *bows down in reverence*

And here I was respecting my little bro for becoming a pharmacist (although he likes to joke that he's actually a "harma-cist" coz he is just a pawn for big pharma). Skylord
Not really sure how to answer this. I don’t really use one hand over the other, except in trained tasks. I can’t write with my left hand, but I also can’t play the cello with my right hand. Maybe ambidextrous? I’ve never really given it much thought. uniQChick
Right handed with left eye dominant. Shooting while holding a gun at the left shoulder is a torment!

Jelle
And while we go at this, I'm also left eye dominant, but in my case it wasn't doing a big trick to my brain... well, until now
Sally
I have a power hand (right) and a creative hand (left). I can't throw a ball with my left, or draw with my right.
Clowel
I can't draw or throw a ball with my left. Just about anything else I can do with either hand. When I'm using power tools I tend to use my left.
Calliers
I should mention when I'm typing I can use my left hand to hit the keys accurately, but this is probably true for many people. Also when I play video games I don't have any trouble using the left side of a game pad, or using WASD and all the keys I need to press on the left side of the keyboard with my left hand. Otherwise for everything else, I'm right handed.

PaleMoth
I started off ambidextrous but my primary school teachers convinced me to pick my right. My gran went to a Catholic school and they tried to beat the left handedness out of her.

It's sad but it is true.
KennaM
I'm right-handed but left-eye dominant, like others have mentioned (my right eye is actually pretty bad, it was corrected from a lazy eye as a child). I took archery one semester in college and was the only one using the left-handed bows in our class, and I don't think the professor really knew how to help me with my stance unfortunately! I don't do archery now (I really want to, but lack the facilities and means to) but the left-handed aiming posture still feels way more natural than the right-handed one, and there's several minor motor tasks I do left-handed instead of right-. Strange fact: I'd rather go to an archery range than a shooting range. I just find bows IRL so interesting, especially compound bows.

We learned both compound and recurve in that class I took and if I ever get to a point where I can buy my own bow, I'm definitely starting with a compound. I love that you can adjust the draw-weight; it was such a good arm workout!

I think they might even be just as cool as owning a samurai sword.
Blueberry Pie
Supposedly, when I was really little, I used my left hand more than my right hand. My parents thought I was going to be left-handed. Then I just switched to being completely right-handed (no one forced me or anything), and I continue to be right-handed today. 🤷
